I am not a pro but am learning astrophotography. Most of the apps with a couple exceptions, give little info and want more $ for a promise of more. They seem geared primarily toward getting more $. This app, for me, delivers, is no nonsense and Very useful for providing info on what is going on and coming up (no pun intended) for astrophotography.

The older version still worked, so I figured I’d spend $3 to add reminders to my calendar. Also saw they hadn’t updated this app in 8 months, but maybe it was simple enough not to need updating? All “Add to Calendar” does on a given day’s listing is open a completely blank new event dialog – not even on the correct date. I was hoping it would at LEAST contain the text of the event and possibly a URL to their web site, but not even pre-filling the correct date is inexcusable. VERY sorry I bought this. What a rip-off. They should remove this from the store.

Used Skyweek then Skyweek Plus for years...Now NO WAY!!! Biggest problem seems to be Developers have lost interest...Use to be THE ”GO TO” program. Worked great no matter where I was. It knew my location. Tracted my location with my GPS. But as of today Skyweek Plus can't seemed to find its own butt with both hands...let a loan find me. Good by and good luck. Hope you fix it...

One thing that I didn’t like was the inability to change locations. It is always set for 40N 90 W that is somewhere in Illinois.
Not as advertised.

The description says “…you can customize for your location.” There isn’t any way do do that. It’s fixed at 40° N. Definitely not worth buying!
