This app is a piece of junk and a waste of $. Would not download maps. Kept getting failure to download messages. Don't buy it.

Update fixed the lack of a Back button and now supports i5 screen size. So much better!

Got a telescope or binoculars or eyes? Buy this app! Not only do you get great viewing tips for the evenings, you also get the ability to set alarms based on them. The planetarium style viewing windows allow you to step back and forwards in time from your location, and allows for learning the night easily! By far and away, the best astronomy app I have on my iPhone!

Some features as advertised are not working. Cannot go to Home, set Location, or use Forward or Back buttons. Seems to be almost identical to free app. Please help. Thank you.
LANDSCAPE FORMAT?

When are you going to make landscape format available for the iPad? It use to show up in landscape. I tend not to use this app because it's such a pain to always view it it portrait mode.

I paid, and I'm sorry I did. It needs an update, but that's not happening. Soon it won't work with the updated iOS. Save your money. Developers must have moved on somewhere else. Sad.

I FRIKEN LOVE this app! 5 stars! The day I got it I looked through what it was saying and I saw it said the Milky Way had a magnificent arch, and I freaked out! My mom took me to see it and IT WAS AMAZING! And I live it to see what's happening!

As a newbie I bought this and it only shows the first 2 weeks of January. The home button doesn't work. And there's no access settings. Not pleased with my purchase. For the first 2 weeks it seemed great.
