In Serious Need of Bug Fixes

Skillshare, while being a great educational platform, could use a lesson in app development. I’m using the app in tandem with my PC, to learn various software. Which is crucial because my software takes up most of the real estate on my computer screen. The video playback of the lessons are riddled with bugs. The video freezes during playback while the audio keeps going. And it lacks an essential feature that is available on the desk, 15 second rewind, which is ESSENTIAL for these video lessons. Much more room for a more improved and reliable app.

Free User

I’m a free user of Skillshare. Although the classes I have taken have been very helpful, I believe the app could be better. I feel as a free user that there should be a certain place where all of the free classes are. I will continue to use the app for a little while, but if this isn’t corrected I will have to delete the app. I think the overall app is amazing, but this tweak is extremely needed.

Money well spent

I have been so pleased with this app. I use it on my iPhone, iPad and AppleTV. The variety of classes is impressive and the content is well worth the monthly or yearly fee. I can honestly say that due to this app both my drawing skills and my piano skills have improved. Customer support is fantastic and the one issue I had was resolved within a day.

Really good

I have used many educational apps. Skillshare lacks lag times for watching videos that are common to similar apps. I would like to see a playlist feature. Also if you plan on learning Tech try something else there just aren’t many technology courses. I hope more material is added. The price is reasonable.

So far I'm enjoying the classes I'm taking and the app very useful when not using my laptop. Will come back with another review later.

Horrible tech for an e-learning site.

You can’t cast to Chromecast or Apple TV. When you try to use mirroring it shows up 90° on Apple TV. On top of the tech issues of the first 3 lessons I checked 2 of them were pretty much useless because of the incredibly thick accents in the videos. I was a sucker and signed up for their annual plan. Now I gotta try & get a refund.

Wrongfully charged!

I canceled my free trial a long time ago and haven’t used it since! I was just charged $99 for no reason!

Great Site; Garbage App.

The contents of Skill Share's site are excellent (when their terribly designed app lets them load). I'm enjoying learning everything from engineering to modeling to graphic design, but I constantly become extremely frustrated with the app. Videos often will often freeze while the audio continues, skip ahead, desync, crash, etc. Additionally, half the time the app won't let you log in if you've been logged out. In that same boat, forget signing up using the app (that is, unless you have a decade to spare). Bottom line: Get Skill Share, use it on computer only. Who knows, maybe their Dev team can find a video on how to design a working app.

Concise overviews

I just started using Skillshare. Already loved the concept and now getting to make use of it. Opens up the world of possibility conveniently to develop myself.

Nice app!

I really enjoy this platform. The app works well on my iPad (even though it's five years old).
