The app works as expected. Very rare crashes occur and the models look hardly altered from their computer counterparts. Actually, I think they look quite prettier on iOS. The only fluke I've discovered is that my collection of models - as well as liked scenes - will not appear at all. If this gets patched up, I'll bump up my rating to 5 stars. Thank you guys for bringing Sketchfab to iOS, it's something I've desired for a quite a long time :)
Everything is great but the only thing its missing is AR. I would assume in ios11 the developers would add Apple ARkit. I hope.
(Non mobile) Web site is cool, this app, not so much. VR makes my phone heat up enough to cook bacon. That is, when it actually can load the scene. Rendering is very sub par compared to desktop. I suppose this is attributed to the CPU/GFX power required to do this stuff. I dunno. Technology is cool.
Looks great on iPhone, it would look even better on iPad! How does this not exist?
I'm doing fnaf animations etc and I can't down load models it's horrible if I'd make an app I'd make sure it'll work I'll make a new thing after my mom emails them
The AR is pretty awful. Objects should lock to the floor, but instead wobble and almost move around when you move around them. It really takes away from the augmented reality effect which is a shame because the models are amazing. This is not much better than the older generation AR Releases which are a dime a dozen in the App Store. Lock the objects to the floor correctly and you’ll get the five stars.
This app is great for viewing models and seeing what they look like in an AR setting. But the models do not anchor to the surface they are attached to. When I get up and walk around, the model follows me and rotates weirdly.
The concept is great, and it all works great. But the AR doesn’t work very well. I’m not entirely sure if it uses ARkit, but if it doesn’t then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!
Either gets stuck on Detecting Surfaces or on Tap to Place Model, which needless to say, does nothing no matter how much or where you tap. Using iPhone 7 Plus, so should work fine.
This app looks great but when I click on a model the app crashes, if you can please fix this this app will be five stars
