Great app

The app is really good and I love that you can pick different types of pens, pencils, and markers. I just thought that it was really fun to mess around with the colors and pens and markers

Great!

I love this app! It helps me draw better. I love how easy it is to use and navigate through the app. This app is the best for drawing!

Keeps unticking "Don't Share Data" [update]

Yeah - I said it!

On iOS 10 Every now and then, if WiFi is on the app will say "Thank you for sharing your data with us." I've already said No several times. App keeps switching it to Yes. This is a breech of your policy. Febuary Update: Okay. Seems to be behaving now. I'll keep watching, though. Raised my rating. As for the app itself, I bought Pro tools and still can't find a way to set paper size in inches. I want letter and poster size. Needs palm rejection. I had to wear a glove just to sketch. Didn't need to in my other draw apps. Need to be able to re-size imported images. Sketchbook should ask for a name when saving to new. I hate needing to go to gallery just to names files! In Guides, there should be optional gridlines and perspective grid. Look at Paintstorm. Great perspective grid. You need to allow importing of brushes from your blog, or give us brushes that are actually different. Half of Sketchbook's brushes look identical. [edit: I found an advanced panel with more shapes. This helps. Still we need an easier way to rename and save custom brushes to use in later works.] Would like a watermark function. Thanks. I like the rest of Sketchbook.

Sketch Pad Kudos

Autodesk Sketchpad is simply awesome. I’ve been using it from its inception on the iPad and now I have an IPad Pro and it’s even more awesomer!

I’m in love!

When I first started digital art, I couldn’t find a single app I truly loved to use until I found this one. It is amazing! The only problem I have with it is that you can’t have more than three layers. I wish I could have more but no app is perfect.

Horrible in comparison

The old version of this app is called Sketchbook Mobile. One day I discovered it didn’t work anymore; Autodesk had apparently abandoned it for this new version and stopped updating it. I used Sketchbook Mobile for years & taught myself to draw on it when I was a teen. It was so capable that I could make professional quality drawings & photoshop style edits on it without having to leave my phone. The new version, “SketchBook,” is a children’s toy in comparison. The UI is unintuitive, haphazardly organized, and half the features of the old app are completely missing! There’s not even a fill tool, unless, I assume, I pay extra money on top of what I already paid for Sketchbook Mobile for “pro” brush sets. There’s no options for canvas sizing so you get the same screen-shaped low res canvas every time, and amazingly you can only have 3 layers on top of all this. The only positive to come out of this is that it’s forced me to switch to my computer & learn GIMP. This is such a disappointment to me, though, because I loved SketchBook Mobile & lots of my old drawings are forever trapped in the app’s gallery, which I can’t access at all because my phone just tells me it’s not supported anymore and needs an update, and refuses to run the app. Autodesk’s marketing & management should reconsider what they’ve done to their software. This app shouldn’t exist, has greatly inconvenienced me, and has locked away my own art from me which I’ll probably never be able to recover.

I found a bug. Otherwise pretty good app.

So I was drawing something but then the tool I was using stopped working. Then I chose a different tool and that tool wouldn't work... All my tools stopped working. Can you please fix this? I was working on other drawings and I'm afraid the tools on those drawings won't work either...

Awesome

I literally just got this app...started to play around with the features and decided to go for pro right away. For $.99, you cant beat all of the options you get. The drawing app I have been using for months now was coming up short on a few things, all of which are available in autodesk. Also, I love that there’s a phone version as well, in case inspiration strikes when I’m without my iPad. From the ruler feature to adding text and mirror images, I think this has just replaced my current drawing app!

Perfect aspiring artists.

Id recommend this amazing application to anybody with an Apple Pencil and an aspiration for drawing or sketching.

It’s good but where is the paint bucket?!

No challenges

It’s good and better than programs I use. But with the drawings I do I need the paint bucket!
