Website is wonderful but the app is awful

What happened to this app

Mrs. RC3/4

I have used this app with my families at preschool for 3 years. Loved it. Now, I cannot get it to work anymore. The Mobil doesn’t show you the same stuff that it does on the computer and is so limited. I am the app owner and can’t do anything unless I sign in with my computer. Parents have stopped using it because it is so limiting and allows them hardly any ability to see all the cool things I put on the computer version. I am going to have to look for a different way to share photos with parents next year. Which is really sad because this was so easy and simple before. And parents purchased things too. But now it’s like you traded a computer for a useless brick.

Awful!

For as wonderful as Shutterfly is, this Share app is awful. Not intuitive whatsoever. You can't pick albums by pages. So if albums are named the same but on different pages, you're out of luck. It keeps blipping out and makes me think I've deleted everything. I wouldn't use it if I didn't need to.

Anybody?

Your Mentor

Have been trying to open an account for days now. Still tells me they’re unable to open accounts and to try back later. Doesn’t say how much later.

E-commerce and folders terrible

I’m a photographer and have taken many photos of my family over the years. My father just passed away and I have been trying to get photos up for people to order prints. There doesn’t seem to be a way to see all the menus on the app. Website and apps need some serious updating in programming and design.

Grandchildren on Shutterfly

Greenwitenvy

One of the unique pleasures of grandparent-hood, if you’ll allow me to make up words, is to see your grandkids grow before your eyes. Back in the day, photographs were made from “snapshots” taken on special occasions. Today, our grandchildren are live on Shutterfly...no developing required. Shutterfly provides an appreciated service and has done so for more than 20 years. We tend to look at technological advances and “ ho-him” the next iteration in a constantly changing medium. Every now and then, you have to stop taking everything for granted and pay homage to something that has improved the quality of life, at no apparent cost, to the lucky viewer. Thanks Shutterfly for 20 years or so of better experience. Dave Lewis

We love this app for keeping in touch with teams and clubs! It’s great we can all share photos too!

Uploading photos consistently fails

EricRoi

I tested our wifi, internet speed & the connection my iPhone was getting. All checked out. But the best speed I was getting according to the app was 54kb per second. I only got 2 photos to upload out of 7 and it always errored out. Worthless.

This Apps Performance Has Slowed Dowo

SoccerMaven

Used this previously and although not perfect, it did the job for scheduling and availability. This time around it’s much slower and takes longer to open, update and load information. Not sure what changed, but I hope they resolve it.

Shutterfly seems to be going downhill
