Still love it, just a lil buggy

This is the best app for tracking tv that I’ve found. It’s so easy. But two things that recently have been happening on mah phone: 1) I mark watched on an episode. I go about my day, come back, it’s unwatched again. I usually have to mark it twice for it to stick. 2) I try to add a new show through Discover and search looks like it didn’t find anything, i wait, and then in finds my show.

Great Tracker

This is a great TV Show tracker with a slick UI. The UI is what pulled me away from another app. I do hope in the near future the ability to mark episodes as "re-watched" becomes available. Would also be nice to see some stats like how many episodes, hours, genres I've watched over a period of time.

iOS 9 Compatibility

Awesome app but can it be made compatible with iOS 9 again please?

Use it all the time

Love this for keeping track of the shows I watch

Among the best...

repsac3

I use a few TV apps to keep track of my shows--no one app has all the features I like--but this one is one of the best... You can sort by "number of episodes behind," and it still adds today's shows on the top. Also, it has one of the most attractive looks of the one's I've tried...

Amazing! Use it all the time!!!??

I love this app!!! It lists all of the episodes in every season, future episodes and seasons, when the new season will start/air, has a description of the show, and lists the names of the cast members. You can 'follow' shows to keep up to date on the next episode you need to watch. Although you can only follow something like 4 shows at a time for free... after making a one time payment, you can follow unlimited number of shows. It even counts down for you to new season premier dates! I will have this app forever! ✅?

Can't import backups to restore

FrustratedWithLackOfSupport

I love this app but after it started showing no episodes for Twin Peaks (2017) I backed up my shows to iCloud and deleted the app. The good thing is that fixed the missing episodes but the bad thing is that I can't import any of my backups. I thought maybe it was something to do with the previous version I was using so I backed up using the newly installed version and tried to import but the app doesn't see anything. I tried four or five different support e-mail addresses but all of them came back as undeliverable. Really disappointed as now I have to enter every single show AGAIN and then mark every single episode AGAIN as watched. How are we supposed to import a backup or get support?

Best out there! A watch app to top it off?

绿皮箱子

Definitely the best tv show tracker app out there. Just wondering: do you have any plans to make a watch app any time soon?

The Best Trakt.tv Syncing App

scrooks

I use trakt.tv to track my shows, so an iOS app that syncs with that service is essential. I tried _many_ different apps, spending way too much money and time. For my purposes, iShows TV (and the companion app iShows Movies) were the best of the bunch. Best of all (and perhaps critical to success), the developers continue to enhance and tend to the app. Every single time I sit down to watch TV, iShows TV is opened up and consulted to see what is next up on our list.

Previously bad, now fixed!

UPDATE: Not too long after posting the below review, there was an update made to the application. Literally every single issue outlined below has been addressed and resolved. Posters now ALWAYS load (and quickly) and the app does not take up a significant amount of space anymore. Updated to 5-stars. ORIGINAL POST BELOW (1-Star): I've used this app for almost two years now, but I finally have to find something new. First, the good: the interface is outstanding. Switching between currently watching shows and archived shows is great. I also love the countdown of remaining episodes for shows you're not caught up on, and the countdown to remaining days until the next episode of shows you are caught up on. I love the organization by remaining episodes, with the caught up episodes moving to the bottom of the list. Now, the bad: It's been happening more frequently, but sometimes the poster art doesn't show up when opening the app. Often, half of the show art does appear, but the remaining are just a gray squares. This is annoying as I use the compact view and it does not show the name of the show. Additionally, it seems the interface to Trakt breaks often. The biggest reason I'm switching, though, is because of the amount of storage this app consumes. At one point, it was taking up to 1 GB of space on my phone. I noticed that customizing notifications and the poster art of the shows tended to inflate that space. This is a problem because notifications still pop-up for archived shows. Overall, I was happy, but with these issues going unaddressed for so long, it's time for me to start looking elsewhere. It's a shame because this interface really is the best around.
