Great App - Finally Updated

I am so relieved to see this app has been updated again. I tried searching the App Store for another tracker but none of them compare to this one. It’s a simple and clean tracker system. Thank you for updating!

The Jan 2022 update has restored most functionality. You may need to mark some previous shows watched again after the database change (even if you’re syncing with Trakt) and a few shows of mine have broken (example: Animaniacs doesn’t list the new Hulu episodes anymore, but also can’t be added solely as a separate Hulu show the way TVMB and Trakt now have it)

Garbage app by an incompetent developer. The app went haywire and screwed up years of watch data. I don’t use Trakt so all my data was corrupted and unusable, and there’s no way to get it back. This app is trash. This is the second time this has happened. Stay away from this trash app.

I was so excited to see an update since I couldn’t add new shows but it made it worse. It changed all my “Up to date” shows to new so I can’t see which shows are returning down the line - that was one of the best features. Nothing says or stays “Finished” any more. Like others said I would gladly pay for this app for it to function like it used to.

As of this morning, the app just crashes completely every time you try to open it. It launches briefly, then just crashes! Please fix ASAP!

I have had this app for a long while now and I’ve always found it VERY useful. I paid for the full version. I depend on it for my TV addiction, ??‍?so now that it’s dang near unusable it’s a huge letdown. It started by not letting me add any new shows for the last month. Well they fixed that problem and added 3-4 system ruining new ones. Everytime I open this app now it for some reason goes back about a year and opens the app with that info. All the shows I am keeping up with either say I haven’t watched any episodes or it doesn’t even have the episode info on some shows. I spent over an hour redoing all my progress on every show and thought that was that because the new update must have caused this and I thought it must be fixed. Well I opened it up a few hours later and it had returned to the memory from like a year ago again. I toyed with a few shows and turned it off and back on and they went back to the old progress again. Basically unusable now. Also I Exported the file to the cloud and my phone and it still doesn’t work right when I try to import the last save. I really hate this because as I said I depend on this app. I only gave it an extra star or 2 because it did work great for a couple of years before all this mess started. I had trouble being connected to Trakt TV years ago so I haven’t been connected in like 2 years and it’s worked fine. Until recently. I just updated it and it seems to be working better. I’ll give it a week or so and update my review if the problems stop. Thanks for responding.

This was always my favorite tv shows tracker app. I even bought the custom themes. I was sad that it was not working for a while. But I am just seeing the updates being made again and I am pleased about this! So this is also an incentive for the developer to keep the updates and fixes! I rarely leave reviews for apps. Please don’t give up on this app, it is very helpful for people who love tv shows like me! I hope the updates keep coming when necessary! Thank you!


App is back up and running!!

*So this is an update to my recent post. It seems the app is back up and running perfectly. I have been using this app for years and love it. From time to time something glitchy happens. I think this last glitch may have been with the iOS update. At any rate after a couple weeks or so not being able to add new shows, I am now able to add them. Sometimes it pays to be patient, something I have to remind myself with. Anyway love this app, so glad it’s working again!! (Updated 1/19/22). * I have had this app for years now and loved it. It was like my personal TV guide. Told me when shows would be on, and even gave me a count down to new seasons, for example walking dead 63 days. I never missed a show with this app. I also enjoyed it regarding shows I purchased on Itunes. For example say I purchased Dexter on iTunes, watched the first 6 episodes of season 5, then got side tracker watching other shows. Maybe a few months later, in some cases years later as is the case with “Batwoman” I wanted to watch it where I left off, I wouldn’t have to wonder what episode I was on. As long as I marked it off on the app I’d always know where I was at. This is the case with Star Trek Discovery. Currently I’m 6 episodes behind, as I have only watched the first 2 episodes of season 4. With this app I know exactly where I’m at. I have also enjoyed the app’s layout and display with big movie poster like icons showing me my shows. It tells me how many days to the new episode, tells me how many episodes I’m behind, it tells me what’s completed and what’s up to date. The navigation and adding movies have always been easy and simple. So yeah, I have really enjoyed this app, and it’s been essential in keeping up with my media entertainment consumption. Recently however I have been having some issues with this app. You see, I have been unable to add new shows to my list. Recently I tried adding “The Cleaning Lady” and “Next Level Chef” but I can’t add them. It’s for this reason why I am not giving it 5 stars and instead giving it 3 stars until (hopefully) it is fixed. Years ago I had an issue with this app, may have been the same thing I’m having now, I can’t remember. Turns out, if my memory serves me correctly, they discontinued that app, and added a newer version of the app-this one. I’m hoping that is all that is going on right now. It’s a pain to add my shows back in, but it’s such a nice app, that I will take the time to do it. So hopefully they will fix their app, or just create a newer app. Until then I’m using Hobi in conjunction with this app. Hobi is just ugly, but at least I can add new shows and know when they will be on. It’s just a pain having to navigate between 2 apps. So please iShows let’s fix this issue soon!!
