Emotional yet relaxing

I love these Showa games. Maybe because they’re a little nostalgic to me, spending some of my childhood in Japan. The music, the characters, the story are all great. So far the first two games have made me emotional at the end, which not expected after playing a phone app. I really enjoy the simplicity of playing, though. I hope there will be more games like this in the future.

This is the first time I’ve written an app review but I just had to give a shout out for this adorable and inventive game. I finished the game and am so sad it’s over. I love the inventiveness of it—like the names of the characters and the funny descriptions of the candy prizes! It’s also fun to learn something about Japanese sweets! Most of all this game is just so calming and pretty to look at! The cute shop, the street beyond, the little back room I wish I could have a cup of tea in, it’s really charming...! Plus it has a storyline with the letters you collect. Overall a really great game, simple, cute, fun, funny, creative and well thought out. Yay!

My only complaint is that once I collected everything there was nothing left to do! Add more content! More collectibles! More letters! More shoppers! More candy! Just keep going this game is so beautiful and fun and I miss playing it.

When viewing an ad to start fever mode, the time of the ad usually takes as long as the fever mode and they both start at the same time. This means that by the time the ad is over the fever mode has also ended. Fever mode should BEGIN upon returning from the required ad.
