Your store at Tuckahoe road in Yonkers is becoming unshoppable . I am aware of employee shortages and have seen the results of this in your store , having 4or 5 registers open and empty shelves not due to product shortages , but to no one available to stock them . I understand and allow for extra time while shopping . What I don’t understand is that because of the limited registers open , lines form quite often going the length of isles adjacent to registers . Now here’s the part that troubles me . …. In those long isle length lines the people on line are often down the middle of the isle or double parked with their carts making it impossible to shop the isle or even pass through . I’ve alerted the manager on duty to the problem weeks ago , and nothing is done . In fact the problem is getting worse by the week , especially now with can can sale going on . Often this is in 4 or 5 isles at a time . People block and are slow to react to requests to make room to access shelves or pass through . In my opinion a monitor of some kind is necessary to maintain order as the situation is becoming untenable . It will eventually cause myself and other shoppers to seek other accommodations . If everyone in line would co-operate , things would move smoothly . I’ve been going to the Tuckahoe rd. store for 25 years and would like to continue . Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter .


Poor quality delivery service

I ordered 400$ worth of lobster and food for my partners birthday dinner. The order left on time but arrived almost 2 hours past the latest delivery time. I had to call and message for updates constantly. The lobsters were ice cold by the time we received them. The only saving factor was the driver was friendly once I got to speak with her but it didn’t change the fact that we had our birthday dinner at midnight rather than 8pm. She said it was because another customers order ripped which means everyone else’s order had to be late in return. I do not recommend, Walmart provides a much better service.


Accused of theft and embarrassed by employee yelling and chasing me

I moved back to Jersey about a year ago and moved to Vineland and I had a choice of three different shop rites that are around me and I chose the Millville location because it seem to have the better prices the store was set up a lot easier than other locations and it was the closest to my house. I had been shopping here for close to a year when I finally had an issue with some thing that happened in the store. I was in a rush one night and I don’t know if that’s why it triggered them to be watching meBecause I was literally running through the store trying to get what I needed before a big storm that was about to happen. But anyway, after checking out in the self check out one of the things I had purchased was a case of water. Now the funny thing about this is I struggled for a little bit with the gun to get the water to scan and I even had to have an employee help me. After finally paying for everything and running out of the store I heard someone running up behind meAnd it ended up being a man by the name of Steve who come to find out has been let go for reasons I’m about to tell you as to what he did to me. I don’t know why he was rehired but anyway he came running up behind me ….now mind you it was nighttime and he started yelling at me to stop and I said what am I stopping for and he said you didn’t pay for that water!! Well that made me stop dead in my tracks but only for a split second and just to say …. Uhhh yes I did !!!! absolutely I did!!!! I then began power walking again and he ran after me again demanding a receipt and I said here’s my receipt but I’m in a hurry so you’re gonna have to walk and look at the receipt at the same time. He said the heck I won’t and he grabbed my cart and jerked it around which then jerked me backwards and said you’re not going anywhere you little thief. I said excuse me I said the water is the very last thing on the receipt how dare you call me a thief. He said oh yeah yeah I see it here well maybe it was something else that that they sent me out here to look forAnd then he started rummaging through my bags and at this point I jerked the car away fromHim and I said get the F away from me you’re scaring me at this point I said I paid for ALL my stuff so get outa here. He then started screaming at me accusing me of stealing an entire cart full of groceries the week prior which I had no idea what he was talking about. I hadn’t even been shopping at that storeFor at least a month (was not in the area) So anyway This man scared me he embarrassed me he belittled me and he physically hurt me from whipping the cart out of my hand. I called and tried to report it and the guy on the phone whose name was Michael was a complete joke.He said that he would talk to this person and he hesitantly gave me the guys name which was Stephen and when I asked him why did u hesitate when I asked you for his name he said that he didn’t hesitate.I thought wow is there not One employee that’s gonna be on my side with this!!! So I knew at that point that nothing was gonna be done about what happened to me he was not going to go to a manager about the situation and it’s been about two or three weeks since it’s happened and I’ve gotten no phone call. I have not stepped foot back in the Millville location since this has happened and it’s really unfortunate that saying something like that really doesn’t affect the store because they have thousands of other customers but I’ll tell anyone and everyone my story because afterSharing my story with someone in another ShopRite parking lot she’s the one who told me about the fact that that guy was fired from another ShopRite she didn’t have any idea how he got rehired I guess the guy is an ex cop and he even threw his mother and sister under the bus while he was a police officer. So this guys got major issues in my opinion.Everything that I have said in their review is my opinion and my side of things …. God for bid I have a slander lawsuit pressed on me. At least if I say it’s my opinion ShopRite can’t do anything. They know they were in the wrong in the situation and I’m just a palled that no one stepped up and called me to apologize for this man’s disgusting behavior. Not really sure why someone would go from being a cop to collecting carts at ShopRite but if his track record and what I’ve been hearing about him from others who’ve had similar situations as mine I did all the stuff I’ve been here and his true it all makes complete sense. ShopRite needs to do something about this man who obviously thinks he still wearing a badge. Thank God Millville realize that this man had no business wearing a shield. If he abused his power of receipt checking At a grocery store just imagine what he did with a police badge. It gives me the chills. Anyway I hope this review help someone in the future in case this happens to you. Don’t text victim of his


I shop at home not hard to use

I like that the coupons can be added to the items. My store does call whenever they are out of stock and they know when I’m using coupons not to substitute. Pick up is easy and the time slots book fast.


It doesn’t work for me!!

I try to register and it says, I am already registered. I do, “forgot my password” it says this email is not registered and I don’t get any recovery email. I try to create a new account with a different email and getting a new membership card and after I put all the information it says “ we have encountered an error” “try again”? ????

A Gappy love

This has always been my favorite store since it became into existence. the prices are great ! workers are knowledgeable. the bathrooms are very neatly kept that is a plus. Everything is really professional. Coupons are also a plus along with a digital. Saves me money especially with what’s going on today. ??


Payment takes several tries

Not sure why it is so difficult to get the payment to process. Took several tries. Thought I was so set. Nope. Order never processed. Trying again. Several more attempts to get payment to process. Hopefully it goes through this time. Hardly convenient when there is such frustration involved.


Problems with the app

Address should allow you enter gate code somewhere Had a few issues while looking for Indian food pre meal only had 1 product option When went to my Acct and came back to cart there was a problem. Oop displayed & cart didn’t show the correct number of items but when I went to cart items were there. Online app terrible. Slow & takes forever to load products.


Digital coupons

There should be a way that we can select all coupons at once and not have to select each individual or make it like Costco where they are automatically applicable when you purchase the item.
