This service is not reliable and trustworthy. They cancel the appointments with all made up stories or they don’t show up. They won’t even give a courtesy message that they aren’t showing up. When it comes to a used car purchase, trust between parties is at most important and these guys aren’t trustworthy at all. Proceed at your own risk.

I bought a car less than a year ago and I have spend more than $1.5k fixing different things. Now the check engine light went on which would cost at least an additional $1k. Not sure what kind of checks they do to the cars but not only I was unlucky, maintainance to that car was very poor..

I never had such a bad experience buying a car. Don't buy the coverage warranty from them. It is absolutely useless, also when I asked Shift to cancel it and give me a refund I was told to deal with them on my own. Somebody else on the other hand was actually dealing with them and said it would take over 10 days to get a refund. A guy who was supposed to estimate my trade in was simply rude and offensive. As if you owe him something. Maybe the app is ok but the experience is horrible.

I have written to customer support three times about this but their responses are as if they never read the actual email. With in the app, you are not able to view your favorite cars or add favorites.

Their online instant quote to sell was much higher than other “convenience” places like carMax, the deductions in price for minor dings were reasonable and the come to you service was very convenient. The final assessment process and paperwork was a breeze and the funds posted to my account even faster than was stated.

App 4* - does a few things well like narrowing cars Service 1* since till date after 3 tries and test drive bookings - no cars ever showed up - Even my neighbor had a similar experience- car showed up but very late in his instance I recommend you eliminate the overhead with driving the car and just follow the practice of having cars on a site because it seems Managing the cars showing up on the door step -is really not working
