Only use this if you want the first car you look at, no questions asked. If you have the audacity to want to see a second car, they label you a flake and insist you go to their lots, no matter what was wrong with the first. Horrible customer service.
I love Shift itself but the app is lacking features

It’s easy to search for cars, but the descriptions are less detailed than the website, there are no car specs listed (like colors or performance figures, and you can’t “heart” cars to add them to your favorites list. It would be nice if it allowed easy photo downloads and feature parity with that website.

Avoid buying a car from this platform at all cost. Their advertised cars seem to have hidden/undisclosed damages that were unprofessionally fixed/patched to mislead the public! Once that so-called five-day return policy expires you’d be done — money lost! Moreover, be aware of their last-minute cancellation tactic, which they unethically use to push you to pay that non-refundable $250 deposit — DO NOT pay it! In my opinion, this entity is operated by some con artist(s) in the Bay Area/SF! Consumer be aware!
They changed the car’s price on me. What??

After I selected a car and arranged a test drive, SHIFT increased the price of the car by $1300. (They did not notify me; it was lucky that I noticed.) When I called to complain, they said: our algorithm noticed an increase in demand for this vehicle. No kidding. Disgusting.
Laughably low quote on rare car

I received a quote $4,000+ below median KBB value for both private party and dealer range. They "love data," but when it comes to rare cars with a limited data set, it appears they fall very short. Update your algorithm.
