The point of having a remote app is to NOT have to use the actual remote. What's the point if I still have to use the remote to access most of the features on my tv?

What a let down this app has been. I just purchased a new 60" Aquos and was excited to find that a remote app exists. After 1 hour of unsuccessful attempts connecting to the tv using my mobile device, which is an iPhone 6S Plus, I quit. Seriously Sharp, I expected better from you! This app reminds me of the frustrations I had when dial-up internet was around.

It's not a replacement

The app works ok. I can not use this as a replacement because it is lacking some of the buttons that are on the actual tv remote, i.e. Netflix, smart control hub. Those are what I wanted considering the channels are changed through the cable box and volume through the surround sound. Everything works off the all in one remote I have except the smart features of the tv which are not included with this app so it's pretty much useless to me.

Needs Serious work.

This app is two stars at best. It's very mediocre to say the least. The set up is less than intuitive and when you do get it set up, multiple buttons don't work on the remote. SHARP, this app is garbage. Get your sh*t together.

If I could give less that one star, I would. I got the app connected, after many attempts and it quickly stopped working. The app is basically useless. The instructions are not very useful either and the instructions do not explain how to connect a newer (2016 TV). I had to go to Sharp's website to get the proper instructions. I finally got the TV connected, but nothing in the app worked properly...literally nothing. The remote buttons in the app didn't even work. It said I was connected, but nothing worked. A little while later, the app says it cannot find the TV. The TV is awesome and it does everything it should do. However, the app is unbelievably awful. The only way to properly connect your iPhone or iPad, is to have Apple TV. This app is extremely disappointing.

All sharp remote apps Not work, I'm ganna return my sharp SmartTV because of that. I CAN NOT believe that company like sharp in 2017 still not able to develop an app for people how pay millions to buy its TVs

If tv is On is okay

I can't turn ON the tv, if is ON i can use the app to turn OFF but not ON. The GUIDE is terrible. Hope the fix The ON problem.
