It does not alert before an earthquake, and after an earthquake, it does not provide information.

There were large earthquakes in Southern California in 2019. There was a 4.6 earthquake in the San Gabriel Valley in 2020. Not a peep from the app. The USGS system sends out alerts, but all this app does is mock you and point out that we are all going to die.

Moved to LA 2 years ago, it’s a must have app here. I lived through 3 earthquakes, I wish I received at least some notifications, anything, but nothing, nada. Completely useless.

Received an alert of possible shaking in my area last night in LA, after the shaking had stopped! Map still doesn’t show the Whittier quake from last night....just a gimmick app.

It lists earthquakes after they happen, but we were just startled by a 4.8 and nothing from the app showed up. You have to hunt for a listing of what happened, and social media is faster.

This app failed! I have had this app installed for many months waiting to see how it worked. Finally on 9/18 LA has a decent earthquake. I feel the earthquake, I get out of bed, get to my kids, move to a safe place, and then when the shaking stops, this app sends a critical alert of an imminent earthquake. Thanks for nothing. The entire purpose of the app is to give a warning BEFORE the shaking starts. An alert AFTER the shaking stops is an utter failure. Only LA could have an app that probably cost millions of tax payer dollars in development and cannot even perform its core function when needed. Way to Fail LA! ??

We had an earthquake locally yesterday and wasn’t alerted. This is the second time where the app hasn’t worked. The app and phone are up to date.
