Doesn’t work

Can’t put in airline name. After typing 3 letters a message appears “Oops, no connection, try again” even when all other apps work fine at the same location and WiFi shows 5 bars.

The core function of SeatGuru no longer works for American Airlines’ flights: the app doesn’t identify the plane or seat configuration for a flight number (or route). I’m sure they will fix, but skip the update of you can — it has rendered the app pointless for now.

I work for an airline and a coworker suggested this app. As an employee, we fly standby so we never know what seats we’ll end up with until we’re cleared. As someone who looks at seat maps for a living, these are so inaccurate it’s not funny. Don’t rely on this app!!!

App used to work flawlessly. Now always some sort of error message. Too bad. Was a good app. Another one bites the dust. Delete.

The app UI doesn’t matter if the data is wrong 80% of the time for UA wide-body aircraft. Example: UA operates a two class 772 from EWR - HKG. And IAH - NRT. Yet your app shows the 3 class equipment. Countless examples. I’d recommend pausing on all UI enhancements/integrations and spend your project dollars on data cleanup. Who cares about seat comments/pics/heatmaps, etc. if you aren’t even going to be flying on that plane. ;) Am I right?

I used to love this app but now with the new update the seat maps look very animated and weird. The old version was perfect. One feature I miss is when you would put in your destination and they would show all the possible layovers, now if your making a layover you have to re-type everything in. I’m think of ditching this app completely.

the seat map functionality seems to only work once out of 20 times trying it. putting in my flight info more often than not brings up a list of all possible plane models rather than the one specific to my flight. when i first downloaded it and used the app, it worked and i thought this would be a great reference tool, then literally tried again within minutes and will only get the list.

Looks like 7 mo ago someone wrote with same problem as other people did. Load info for s flight and no seat map comes up. I tried it on multiple devices to no avail. It was claimed to have been fixed with new ap update by your employee. Its been this way for a week. Ive tried hard to do a simple task. The main task that your name implies... Do you know of any other services that show you seat maps? I also noticed your info on Alaska aircraft if woefully outdated( by a year at the very least) Did you know Alaska bought Virgin three years ago and are now fully INTEGRATED? Time to delete seat guru
