Never connects to my Seagate Nas. Hell Sierra almost never connects to my Seagate nas anyhow. And Seagate doesn't offer useful support. Had the nas for a couple months and plan to replace it asap. Seagate Nas systems are not worth this effort. Time Machine can never just see the nas either. I wanted to have a nas for time machine and media server as well as general file backups. Nope. Nope. Double nope. I have the nas hooked into my comcast wifi router which works fine. The other sustems on the network worked simply with pnp, however the seagate is just terrible. Sorry for this review seagate. But it is the truth.

It works ok, I don't seem to have problems connecting, my wife is hit or miss. I suspect that's because I'm a storage admin and use to connecting to storage whether NAS, SAN, block or file.

The program always disconnect from the seagate media center, Can not reconnect again. Too slow, also the casting to chrome cast is too poor.

This app is billed as a file manager and media manager for Seagate NAS drives. It is very poor at both. When files are modified from within the app, sometimes I have permissions issues from computers seeking to modify the same. Also, the media player is very underdeveloped and quite archaic. It doesn’t support many formats at all. Save the trouble, get a good file management app and a solid media player (VLC works just fine with Seagate NAS). In the future I’ll go WD, safe to say.

I can’t get the device to store documents from my iPad. Not even remotely intuitive. With the least support and help I’ve ever encountered in the modern age. Piece of crap.

The app is a disappointment, lacks the ability to access personal folders, is slow to access anything through local network. My Dropbox runs 10x faster. Lesson learned on buying Seagate Nas devices..... never again

Everything about this app is counter intuitive. It’s ugly too, on the page to make choices where to store images the text is white on a white background. There is no way to change this, there are no preferences, etc. Unfortunately it’s the only app there is so you’re stuck... in a very bad place.
