If you need help with the app, forget about it being handled in a timely manner. No phone support, only by email. They say they “try” to respond to your questions within 48 hours; I’ve been waiting 3 days. And let’s not forgot the scammers, bots, and fake profiles. It’s amazing how many guys will say they are close to you. But when you ask for specifics they say that they currently aren’t in the states but serving in Iraq, Africa?, or Afghanistan. ?.

Clearly this app pic review is not consistent and they have triple standards. Some nude pics are allowed in the profile, but other pics even with swimsuits are rejected.

Couldn’t save my first account because I had to update the app this shows how tacky and shoddy the engineering is and they should be embarrassed

I have scruff pro and with the new feature the app doesn’t work at all. Immediately crashes on start. Never buying pro again

More and more of the app is behind a paywall or requires you to be online. I don’t want to go online because one time I farted and poop came out and a old man on scruff tried to eat it which made me throw up. Enough!!

So this is by far the best app I’ve found to work for me. The guys overall are mellow, it is much more so than Grindr…And silly petty disconnects etc. happen much more in frequently. It is, however, changing at least in the city I live in and that probably has to do with the demographics of our city changing. We have had a lot of people from the West Coast moving in who are used to a different style and pace of life and although we welcome them it’s sad to see the friendliness we’ve been used to and becoming more impatient as well that is way way too specific in the types of guys they are looking for. In fact I think guy types should be much less of a feature than it is. Just like Facebook (Meta?), the fewer people we allow into our little world even just for chat, the more specific and less friendly people become when someone outside of their limited preference range tries to say hello. My opinion.

I met my lover on Scruff and have been living in a fairytale like state of mind ever since❤️

Great way to connect with others in the area (for whatever reason you would want to do so). Only downside in my opinion is the the fact that you can no longer save photos or even take screenshots of photos sent to you in the app. Not 100% clear on the logic behind it, since similar apps allow that, but besides that, it’s a great app overall.
