WAY too slow for any grids to refresh. Look once, come back in a few hours when you can get new guys - waste of time. Absolutely no way this is worth a monthly fee. FYI: their generic response here apologizing and requesting you to contact their support: yeah this does nothing. You’ll get a ‘too bad’ message & that’s it. Do not waste your time here. In fact, this is going down another star.

Scruff is great if you are a white, hyper masculine gay. Anything else? Good luck! Besides other complaints of racist profile picture screening that I myself experienced, this app does nothing but reinforce the worst parts of the gay community (racism, femme shaming, body shaming, transphobia). I was told this app was more accepting and overall friendlier and safer than Grindr, but after using it I laugh at the comparison. The app itself is easy to use, discreet and well-designed, but until Scruff can diversify and ACTUALLY contribute something to making the LGBTQ community an accepting place, I won’t be using it. ??

Read how owners John Skandros and Eric Silverberg (the owners, if that’s their real names) collect and use your data. Their privacy policy basically gives them free range to do whatever they want with all the personal details and conversations you have. Just know what you are giving away when you sign on to use this app.

Some guy falsely reported me for drugs then I got a strike for nothing there wasn’t even drugs mentioned in the chat he did it Bc I wouldn’t sleep with him

I contacted support to ask why when someone send me a pictures I lost the ability to view them again after a few days. No response. Then I lost the ability to allow people to view my private album. It seems like the monthly subscription is extremely high end and not worth the price. And not just Scruff but most apps. Hell at least Grindr offer free use of their premium services sometimes. Sorry but the price to pay for premium service for Scruff is more than I would pay for a dating app especially when the people on the app, which has never to do with Scruff, are so pretentious. Geeze how many people feel they have to have a muscular picture of their body thinking that’s what the gay community is all about. But I digress! Bottom line Scruff offer your service with a little more control and lower your price.
