Take a cue from Lime; that app is always ready when I need it to check into a scooter or check out when I’m done. In contrast, this app always, always!, forces a reload screen, adding 15–30 seconds to every interaction.

I’m extremely frustrated with Scoot. I’ve been using them for years, but they charged my girlfriend $100 bc the scooter tipped over on her first ride, while we were together. She just was trying to figure it out, the videos obviously aren’t enough. The app is buggy. Extremely hard to find parking, confusing on what to do about 2 hr parking and meter situations, and they don’t service west of 25th in SF.

What is the point of this service is the scooters do not function?

There use to be a function where we could swap scooters in the garage. Can you being that back please?

Could not use cause you never verified me and my friends DL. We waited over an hour. Learn from Bird and Lime and instant verify. No point of having these scooters if you cannot operate correctly.

The email turn around response its 24-hours. So if you are visiting lets say San Francisco and you need to rent one of these, and one of the set up steps doesn’t go as desired, you are out of luck until the next day. Thanks Jazmin Torres, but no thanks.

The safety video pop-up keep showing up even after I played the vdeo 3 times. It’s annoying.

The app does not tell you you’ve parked your scooter out of their zoned area. Instead, once parked, the scooter is put on indefinite hold, draining your account, and not alerting you until unless you happen to reopen the app, possibly hours later. Also the scooters themselves are severely underpowered, and unable to go up mild inclines, let alone hills. At a certain point one wonders what purpose these serve in San Francisco. For a fraction of the cost one could rent a far sturdier electric bike, actually capable of traversing the city, and look far less ridiculous.
