I’ve had the app for about a month and it is not as intuitive as I expected it to. They already charged me $9.99 for 1 month. I decided to cancel the subscription and neither Apple nor the developer make it easy. There’s no “Cancel Subscription “ button on the app settings and I cannot unsubscribe from the App Store either. With every update Apple software engineers change a ton of stuff around and don’t let you know. That’s something they can improve on. I don’t know what to do. Do I just get rid of the app and hope they don’t charge me again?

I needed to scan a barcode quickly download this app. As I hi open I saw$9.99 go by as the screen opened. I knew I had an authorized anything so I got the email confirmation from Apple and clicked on the subscription link. If I hadn’t canceled the app I would’ve been charged $9.99 a month automatically in 3 days. At no point was I asked to make a purchase or told of the charge. And by the way it would not scan the code on the side of a package I needed.

TL;DR: Dropbox let’s you scan documents for free. Use that instead, not this buggy scam of an app. All I wanted to do is download my file as a PDF. But almost every export option is broken. 1. I couldn’t send in an email. 2. I couldn’t save to iCloud because it says I’m not signed in even though I am. 3. I can’t save to google drive because google says this app isn’t trusted. 4. I couldn’t export to Dropbox, because it just didn’t work. 5. Saving to camera roll just didn’t work 6. Sending in iMessage does work but it sends as images. Which means I need to then convert those 9 images into a pdf which I couldn’t figure out how to do on my phone. Finally, I was able to export to Everstore. And then export from Everstore to Google Drive. And then from there message it to myself. To reiterate, I had to download and create accounts for TWO additional apps (Dropbox and Everstore) while trying to figure out how to get access to my pdf I had already spent half an hour scanning. And on top of all that, they tried to charge me $10 a MONTH after the 3 day trial. If that weren’t enough of a scam, when cancelling my subscription, I saw there’s also a $4 a month option with seemingly the same functionality. Even if this app wasn’t broken, it would NOT be worth $4 a month. Especially since after downloading Dropbox, I found out they offer essentially the same service for free. I have never left a review before, but this app made a 10 minute task into a frustrating two hour experience. If I can save a single person from this nightmare hellscape, this review will have been worth it.

This app is listed it’s free but then charges you $50 to actually be able to use it.... false advertisement.

Unless you are paying for this garbage app don’t buy it. It only allows 3 scans per day it’s a price of garbage, their just tryna grab as much money as they can from people and you can’t transfer it to your other apps unless you pay. Overall garbage 0/5.
