Great concept, but...

I downloaded this app when my dryer was malfunctioning. Was pretty excited to have troubleshooting done for me, but the code came back that there was nothing wrong. After normal troubleshooting, found and replaced the thermal fuse that wasn't letting the dryer heat up. Basically the "smart care" portion of this app is worthless meaning any "smart care" function on products is worthless as well. Personally, I would trade the frills of this app's connectivity for better product reliability.

The app needs to be in the foreground and your phone screen on for the app to alert you that your laundry is done... Which renders it pretty much useless. I'm very disappointed in this app.

Can't communicate with washer

I think the signal is too weak. The router being 30 feet away from the washing machine is too far, I guess. Not a problem for my phone or other devices. App seemed like a cool idea but I'll never know.

Really needs an update

This app needs an update to actually be usable, as it is the notification doesn't work well for completion and there are a lot of bugs and crashes.

After wasting 30 minutes just trying to get it synced to my wifi....I finally came to my senses asking myself, "even if it does connect, so what the functionality is pointless and would add no value whatsoever. I'm thinking maybe the high school intern at Samsung labs needed somebody busywork. ?

I realize that the concept of making a quality product for iOS users may seem a bit unsavory to you, but this app is a joke. It's so obvious that you're purposely hampering the user experience, and it's just pathetic. The app doesn't even match the pictures in your own washer manual, for pity's sake. Do some demographic research, and I think you'll find that the majority of people who are willing to pay top dollar for your high-end washers and dryers are also likely to have an iPhone, not a Samsung device, in their pocket.

Neat idea, but that's about it

I love the idea of a smart home and that the washer/dryer is apart of that, but it's an idea. This app stinks and I spent 30 minutes trying to sync it with wifi, which the router is right in the next room. Disappointing. I hope Samsung can spend quality time designing apps like this instead of suing Apple over who invented the phone

Yes to electric but No to gas dryer

Really I could run my dryer if it was electric but not since its gas? The whole set up is the same but at the very end when you push the button to start the dryer it tells you only monitoring machine status is available for gas dryers

I would rate 5 stars if app had a timer function. It should allow you to preset a start time for the washer. Please fix!
