App keeps crashing. Please issue a fix.

The crash update didn't help
Momofspecialkids

Hi, I have had this app since soon after it's release, but haven't been able to use it. It load to the main menu fine, but right after pushing play, it has always crashed. I just downloaded the update hoping the app would function, but it is the same.

Crashes on older iPods

Title page shows, then crashes.

Great app, but needs customization
heavyd77wayne

This is a great concept, great user interface, and great problems to solve. However, I wish there was an option to customize it to the child playing. First, I believe you can only have one profile (which isn't even a "profile", you just type your name) to save and play. Next, there are too many hard problems. The math games vary from simple adding and subtracting all the way to algebra. I actually DO love this, since it's great for families with kids of different ages, or just to have an app "grow" with your child. However, it's frustrating for my 5 year old to click on the fractions and algebra problems all the time. My final complaint is that you should be and to control the speed that the problems give you. It is hard for young kids to concentrate at all, let alone feel pressure at being timed. I give it two stars now, and will give it 5 if these changes are made for more customized gameplay. Thanks!

Better on iPad
CasualMTDrider

Harder to tap on smaller targets using iPhone. Much easier to get high score on iPad. Does not save accomplishments using game center. This cab also help to track different users on the same device. Waiting for this feature in future update. Does not support head to head gaming for races between players. No volume control for sound effects. User must change phone/ringer volume. Good progression of problem difficulty and great choice of problems.

Needs Improvement
TeacherCandidate

This application has great potential. One of the downfalls is the distracting graphics. If the correct answer is selected, the cannons go off and shake the screen. At times, it is raining in the background, which can be distracting as well. After the round is completed, a sheet informs you of what questions the player answered correctly and incorrectly. However, the correct answer is not provided for the mistakes and the answer the player chose is not displayed either. From a teacher's perspective, this does not benefit my student learners. If the assessment at the end displayed the students’ incorrect answer and also shows the correct answer, then the students can see what the correct answer was and I, as the teacher, can view any misconceptions. There is also not an explanation in terms of why the answers are correct and incorrect. Right now, the game is simply an advanced version of flashcards. With some improvements, I think this application has great potential to be worth the cost.

Can't change profiles/reset levels.
Reading Buddies

This is a nice idea but it quickly becomes too hard for younger kids and I can't find a way to reset scores or chose the easiest level.

Distracting
J Wilb

Too distracting!! The cannon firing and pad shaking is way too much. It's hard as an adult it does not work for a child at all.

It doesn't work. Totally a rip-off. Go to the technical help and it doesn't exist. That's right Sail Through Math does not exist on McGraw-Hill's website.
