Players take turns finding the secret number on a number line. In each round, the monster designates a secret number on a number line. Players try to guess this number by clicking one of the numbers. If the number chosen is larger than the secret number, that number and all larger numbers on the number line are covered by the monster. If the number chosen is smaller than the secret number, that number and all smaller numbers on the number line are covered by the monster. Players take turns clicking numbers until one of them identifies the secret number and wins the round. There are a total of 5 rounds in a game.

I work with perk, kindergartners, and first graders. They all love this game. It does a great job giving children the chance to develop number sense and to identify numbers. This is worth every penny. If your child does Everyday Math at school it is one of the games they play and will reinforce what they are doing in school, too.
My daughter loves these games on the computer and gets credit through her school toward incentives. Would be great if she could log on for credit with these apps- she would play all day then lol!
Only one game - no variation. Not worth $2 - use a ruler and have your kid try to guess a number that you've secretly selected. Keep squeezing the answer between the picks that your kid makes.
I will give a higher rating if they change the phrasing. The app is saying the opposite, if the secret number is 3 and I pick 5, the game will say the secret number is higher than the number I picked. How can it be higher? Please fix.
This is a great app for preschool and early kindergarten, but I wish I could change the range of numbers. Kids in my classroom really need help with the teen numbers. I would like to have a 10-20 range. Please update with a teen range. Thanks.
This game is perfect for my preschool and kindergarten students. My preschoolers at home love it, too! I like the ability to change the range of the number line. My only wish is that it went all the way to 100!
Very confusing ... You better of using a paper and a rule...the app it's very short...well at least I gotten for free. I deleted soon I took two Tylenol for the head ache I got for using this crap.
This makes for a good place to start. Once students start to get the hang of the idea of more and less the app becomes not as useful. It's a good idea to get students started and engaged, but not to be used more than once or twice as a teaching tool.
I'm glad this isn't the language arts app. Forger to choose a color for player 2 and you'll be told "Please select colors for both palyers (sic)"
This is a very cute educational tool for teaching Kids their numbers and the concept of greater than and less than. The octopus is adorable. The game is short enough that kids do not lose interest midway through. I especially like the ability to choose a specific range of numbers for each game (0-10, 10-20, or 20-30) and well as have a different ranges of numbers chosen randomly for each round.
