Sac Bee App Review

Andypanda5976

I have used a lot of news apps and the Bee has done the best. Reliable and easy to navigate

Paid subscription, no access again.

Kcrap

It's sad that The Bee can't seem to enforce user credentials without locking everyone out.

Extremely Poor Design

DTHalstead

Too many hidden advertisement triggers. Too many advertisements covering up content. Too much advertising. I pay a subscription fee for the newspaper, not for more advertising. I’m canceling my subscription at the end of it’s term.

One of the Worst and Amateurish Ever - GFJ 11/11/16

GFJ1

The newspaper view, as opposed to the highlights view, is clumsy, ugly and prone to defaulting to advertising. It is poorly designed and in terms of navigation, hard to use. The highlights, linked view is incomplete and doesn't represent the entire paper's offering. Overall a cheap, unprofessional app that seems designed to force you back to the paper version. Also, management must be happy with it as there's not been updated versions. It's a time-wasting afterthought of an app.

The stars are for the Nine One Siccness... now for The Bee app itself: Sacramento deserves better. Step your game up and rep yo city

Disappointed!

barbwill

Just subscribed for $99 a year and can't see most of the content (videos) without commercials! Gloppy site and commercials....pretty sad!

Bad application planning

sstormes

When a SNS notification appears on the device, the application needs to open up to the story sent in the notification and not the main screen. We get you are trying to drive more views, but it is a blatant attempt to try to get users to see the main screen where you get ad dollars.

BOO- No local obits, search function

S DLCR

1. Can't seem to find the local obituaries using this app. 2. There's no search capabilities 3. And if the nickname is taken after pressing the OK button you lose everything you've entered this being forced to rekey your review.

Sacramento bee review print edition in electronic form

Phillips William

This is the worst application. Don't bother loading it or downloading it. It is not stable he cannot be set to default it continually give you pop ups of advertisements that you have to get rid of
