The RYOBI GenControl™ App allows you to pair your iPhone with your Ryobi RYi2300BTA Inverter Generator using Bluetooth technology. The app will wirelessly show the real-time fuel level, load level, and remaining runtime of your generator. The app also enables remote overload reset, and remote shutdown from your iPhone. The information displayed in the App is identical to the information displayed on the LCD screen of your generator. Parallel function is also supported by the GenControl App.

Great app, but I wish...

Great convenient app , love the control to turn off from phone, backlite off option, and idle on and off option, one thing that would be a great addition would be a timed on and off idle option as is my case when I use my a/c I time it to shut off several hours later leaving the fan on in the cool room to keep me cool , extending the run time and switching the idle extending it further.

Nice app you can do a check fuel, running time to change the oil, fuel time to outfuel and off generator remote from your phone

Easy to use and easy to pair. Nice features. A suggestion for future updates it would be great if you could add an alarm for low fuel , low oil , and a warning tone for high load.
Bluetooth equals wifi on an iPhone

While I love the generator I wasn’t fond that in an iPhone this program wants WiFi AND Bluetooth on. It wants cellular data in as well. This wasn’t true with my Pixel but apparently is on an iPhone. Why would a Bluetooth device need WiFi and cellular data (battery suckers)?
Generator will not shut off

From brand new this generator shuts down on it's own completely randomly, yet will not shut down when requested to from my phone when I'd like to shut it down. I'm going to have to buy another brand, Ryobi ignored my emails.
