It works most times

Please explained to me why if I download the 3 hours and play them, why does it take 1 to 3 minutes to start playing? It progressively gets worse over time. At this point I have to delete the app and reinstall. iPhone 7p with 80 gigs free. Please fix this. I’m getting sick of this because I am always dealing with this while driving. (I do not have this issue ever with Pod cast from iTunes)

Good, but

Randman80

I have the same issues mentioned. If I pause the playback and the phone goes to sleep, the app will reboot when I attempt to play it again, and of course, it never remembers where you were at so you are forced to select the proper hour and try to drag the time slider to where you were, if you happed to notice when you paused it. That slider is not easy to manipulate. If I start it and there are no interruptions, it works perfectly. It rolls hour to hour just fine. This version works a great deal better than the previous. Of course it’s the content that I’m after, and that rates 10 stars.

Worth it!!!

Love Rush, but what is up with constant need to relaunch the app

28+yrs Rush Fan

Crash ,crash ,crash. Very frustrating to try to listen to an entire show. With every phone call or most every action taken on the phone I have to start over and relaunch the app. Come on app-masters get your act together. This has been happening for quite some time now. We pay to listen to Excellence in Broadcasting. Please deliver. Rock on Rush and find some new tech junkies to get this annoying issue resolved.

Love Rush hate the customer service

Adam_41

I love listening to Rush. I had a issue with a possible double charge so I contacted customer service, I was forwarded to a account specialist who asked me questions about how I subscribed when I responded she told me how to deactivate my account on apple. I told her I didn’t want to cancel and that I was asking about the possible double charge and she told me that I needed to contact google play to find if I was double charged. So sad. I don’t think she even read my emails. Wasted two months of emailing for no help. So disappointed.

Shameful app from the Apple fanboy

What is the point of being able to download the podcasts if you have to have internet to listen to your downloaded files. You can keep listening after you lose signal, but you better have at least a decent 3G to start playback. Every time my signal is low I get an error message about 99.8% sure there was a problem. You also have to wait for 5 minutes for the app to realize you don’t have internet before allowing you to change categories. There is also no way to refresh the available downloads, so every day you have to physically shut down the app and restart for every podcast as they become available. I’ve been a subscriber to Rush 24/7 for 14 years. Live overseas so have to download the podcasts. Podcast app on iTunes stopped updating so forced to try this stupid app.

Rush, The best there is

BAYSENG

Rush is the best there is. Everything he touches has the same quality. It is simply the best.

Terrible. Lacks Basic Functionality

aagreen59

Update: Worst, most unreliable app on my iPhone. Completely unworthy of the content it transmits. I’ve sent multiple suggestions for constant, BASIC functionality problems—to no avail. SO lame. ????? —————- A very frustrated Rush app user, here. Admittedly, it’s a great ?looking? app with lots of great features, but it’s missing some fairly basic app functionality. Here are the biggest four, in my opinion: • While listening to the program in the “Latest Audio” section, if an iPhone alarm or reminder goes off, or you receive a phone call, the app doesn’t resume playing the program audio after you dismiss the alarm on your iPhone or watch, or hang up the call. Further frustrating me, is that (in those situations) when I dig out my iPhone to manually resume the program, it’s either stuck with the circular “progress” indicator going around and around — but nothing happening (no matter how long you wait), or the app completely reboots to the home screen. So I’m forced to restart the entire program segment and search for where I left off when my iPhone reminder/alarm sounded. Ugh. This happens constantly, and it’s SO frustrating. Please fix this! I’m sure it can be done, because the Dave Ramsey app and the Pandora app resume play perfectly in these same situations. • When listening to the program in the “Latest Audio” section, if I get interrupted/busy with other things and need to pause playback and postpone listening to the remainder of it for a couple of hours (which happens a lot, since I’m a single parent), the app doesn’t remember (or indicate) WHERE I left off, so again I am forced to manually search for the spot where I left off within the three daily program segments. What a HUGE pain! Can you PLEASE fix the app so that it will automatically remember exactly where listening was interrupted (regardless of the nature of the interruption)? What an amazing improvement that would be! The best implementation of a solution to this is in the Dave Ramsey app. No matter how long it’s been since I’ve listened (several weeks even), it remembers exactly where I left off, and allows me to easily resume at that point, or choose any other program segment. It’s literally perfect. Please check it out. • While listening to the program in the “Latest Audio” section, as one segment of the program ends, the app automatically plays the next segment of the program. This is a great bit of functionality, but there’s also a huge problem with it, which could be easily corrected. You see, when the final segment (Hour 3) plays for any given day, instead of stopping playback, the app auto-plays the “next” program segment listed in the stack, which is the PREVIOUS day’s program (which users have already listened to), because the auto-play feature plays from top-to-bottom in the list, and programming days are listed in chronologically descending date order (as they should be). The solution here, would be to have the auto-play feature play all three program segments for a single broadcast day, and then stop. This would prevent the aforementioned issue, and require the user to manually start the next day’s program if they choose to. Again, Dave Ramsey’s app does it this way, and it’s perfect. • When looking at the program listings in the “Latest Audio” section, there’s no visual cue/indicator of which program segments have already been listened to. Thus, if it’s been several days since I’ve listened, it’s difficult to remember the last program segment I heard, and where to start listening (because I don’t like to miss or skip any, if possible). A small check-mark or something next to each segment that was fully listened to would help here. Again, look at the Dave Ramsey app to see how they’ve solved this issue. All four of these problems are constant, daily issues for me, so I’m sure they are for many other Rush app users as well. Thanks for allowing me to provide my feedback. I hope you’ll look into ways to solve these rather glaring and inconvenient issues. Other than the things I mentioned above, it’s a pretty good app.

The podcasts just stopped

joyboy55

Podcasts stopped working & I asked for help to get them running again for FIVE WEEKS STRAIGHT W/NO HELP WHATSOEVER. The only reason I got the app & subscribed was to be able to listen to the many shows I have to miss because of work, etc. I love Rush but this app is the worst.

Poor app

scheduled listings

The reason I subscribe is so I can download and listen to the shows. I always get error messages about not finding the file. I guess Rush does not want to use any other place to download his show. Fix the app. Still not fixed. I still can’t download a show until well after the show is over. So disappointed, will cancel my subscription. I will still listen when I can.
