On the whole the v8 interface is a clusterf..k. Now the third of the Progress screen is covered with the Set Goals screen. It comes back even if you click the Not Now button. Do people who designed the v8 actually use the app. Or as it is common nowadays the design was outsourced to the lowest bidder in Bangalore? But actually I want to thank you guys for the mess that you have created. I’ve now trying to use Apple Watch and a plan Excel file and I’m loving it.

Love: Stats - excellent without having to pay for a subscription Syncs with MyFitnessPal Tracks shoe wear (distance) Voice Feedback Watch - can see stats when lift to view & display stays on longer than other apps such as Strava (small thing but important) Fixed: Watch - voice feedback when using watch Watch - inconsistencies of distance & calories between watch & phone Need to improve: Watch - cannot customize display Summary - Back to being the best! Thought they lost their way when Apple Watch introduced. Stayed with them through great frustration of inaccuracies between watch and phone but very happy to see they listened to my and others feedback. (Now please leave it alone - it works great!) I’ve tried just about every running app and this one still seems to have the best mix of options without having to add yet another recurring monthly fee to my life. This is a great app and I now re-highly recommended it!

Ok. So I have been using this app for a while to track horse rides. I also started using another app that's more horse specific but didn't give me all the paramedics I want. What I have noticed is a huge difference in distance traveled. You would think 2 apps using the same GPS receiver would be the same. Not even close. So I measured the distance and at 1.8 miles this app shows it at 2.13. So major error factor. My other big complaint is I paid for the app, yet I get bombarded with ads with I open it before I can start an activity. If that's the case I should have stuck with the free version.
