Great app!

Theoct

I love this app for tracking my exercise! I took up running 6 years ago after a lifetime of inactivity. This helps keep me honest - did I *really* exercise a lot last month, or am I kidding myself and I need to get my rear in gear more this month? Nice to see how hard I went along the route, too. I only wish it tracked how long my activity was taking as I go, instead of only showing the total time at the end.

Thank you for the best app

Great app

I been using the Runntasic for about 4-5 years now. Only thing I wish is to stop throwing so many advertisements at me. Also it seems that I can sync with iTunes only on my iPhone and not Spotify. My son’s galaxy can sync with Spotify. That would be a good update for the iPhone.

The best

Had it for 1 year can't imagine being without it now!! Best app ever for running, hiking and walking!!

Finally Working Again!

SirReb410

I had rated this app as 1 Star a few updates ago. It never seemed to work right, I would use the app while jogging and it would not synchronize right, not show up, or duplicate itself. I liked running the watch and phone at the same time, since this seemed like the only way I could track my heart rate and map consistently. I have the Apple Watch 1st edition, so the past updates screwed me. I am glad you all finally wised up and gave your CUSTOMERS/USERS the option to decide how to use the app. One less annoyance crossed off the list!

Forced account creation is unnecessary

I’m also disappointed, like codiggity, with the decision to force users to make an account and be logged in to use this app. There’s no way I can lose my data when I regularly back up my phone thru iTunes. (And use Time Machine *plus* manually store an extra copy of my backup file in the cloud.) There’s just no way. So the developer response to codiggity is quite frankly a red herring. They aren’t doing this to protect our data, so I’m docking them 2 stars off what could have been a perfect rating.

Update loses previous functionality

2017-12-21: Runtastic is now harassing me because I’m not renewing after they broke the watch app just before iOS 4 came out and they are actively blocking bulk download of run data. 2017-11-23: Be aware! You can NOT bulk download your run data. They have gone out of their way to make that impossible. By using them, you lose control. 2017-10-19: Watch app crashed several times during first 2 miles, had to reboot watch to unhang Runtastic. Switched to Apple’s activity app for last 3 miles - worked great!! Done with Runtastic. Don’t waste your time on it. Used to work good for several years, but latest updates just crash. Have been a pro member for several years, no more. 2017-10-17: Watch app crashed 3 times on a 5 mike run, losing all data each time. Just noticed phone app lost my 7 mile Sunday run. Great job guys fixing those bugs. Not. Cannot set watch complication from iOS watch app. Watch app does not talk with iOS app, so phone no longer provides voice coach (a feature of Pro I’m paying for). Watch app does not save weather conditions. Phone app does not talk with Apple Watch, no heart rate monitor.

Thanks for listening to your users.

Allowing users to combine the watch and phone as in previous versions is awesome. And keeping the phone as a stand-alone is also many users will enjoy. You can have the best of both worlds.

Maravilloso
