Great game but orientation is fouled up in sideways mode and vertical has health box in the middle of the screen

Fantastic game - similar to Ultima 3
Ettienne70

The game is a steal at $2. It is reminiscent to Ultima 3 from the 80s which was the initial attraction. Takes about 15 hours to complete the initial quest but had several post quests once completing which allows for replay ability. Hats off to the developers who added nice subtle touches to moving townsfolk rather than static ones. Looking forward to more titles.

There's a nasty bug...

I really like this game, but there's something wrong with the screen orientation when you turn your device sideways. It cuts and is all wrong. It's a really minor issue but it's really distracting and takes away from the overall presentation.

Sequel please!

I love this game! Retro cool! Love it! Hopefully you'll read this and make part 2! Bigger! Longer!

Pretty good

This games pretty good, nice graphics and amazing 8-bit music. The gameplay could use a little more depth..like the ability to level up.

Perfect

I know a lot of people would probably disagree with me, but this game is perfect. If you want great graphics, gripping sound effects, and an original plot line, DON'T download this app. This is comparable to an old GBA/NES game cartridge with revamped touch controls. It took me 5 hours to complete this, and it managed to be both extremely challenging yet easy enough to keep me playing. After you really beat the game, you're given the ability to go a secret island where you can talk to in-game representations of the app's creators. On this island, they often talk about creating sequel for this amazing game, which is awesome considering it was originally a 2kb Commodore 64 game made for a competition back in 2001.

Great!

If your looking for a classic, this is it. Brought back from the commadore 64, this game has amazing sound, great graphics for 8-bit, and a great storyline. On your search for 8 sacred rings, you must battle your way into towns for your next clue on where to go, battling harder monsters each time. If your looking for something that will keep you up for hours, this is the game for you! Though it may be frustrating to some people, you need patience and you need to know how to spend your money. You need to choos the perfect route to the correct town, and most of all, you need some imagination. I highly recommend getting this amazing creation

The whole game is base on "exploring" bit every 10 pixels you move a monster attacks you. The fighting is horrible too: Attack You've been hit! Attack You've been hit! Attack You've been hit! Attack You've been hit! You died! No point in "exploring" when you always have to go back to your village to get health. Good graphics though. The music is cool because it is NES style but it gets really annoying after the first 30 minutes of listening to the same 15 second toon over and over and over again.

A Classic

This app is wonderful! The people who complain obviously thought they were buying a PS3 or Xbox360 level of graphics game or they just don't upgrade their swords. I have no complaints. I just wish that you could heal yourself in combat without sleeping because I cant get a few steps from the castle without getting hassled by a scorpion and taking damage, then take a few more steps, get attacked and have to retreat back to the castle for health. Hopefully, healing without having to go into a town will be possible in the sequel, which I am looking forward to. But this isn't a large problem for me because I constantly upgrade my sword to have an advantage over my enemy. Overall, a great classic.
