I really like this game but I really HATE that whenever you exit the app you have to select resume game and all that jazz! Please fix this in an other wise great app.

If you like exploring you will like this game. Very retro graphics and I like that. Update: now is even better! Icade compatible!!

Really enjoyed this trip down memory (NES) lane. Can't wait for the sequel. This a very light hearted game experience for only $2. Worth every penny! Keep up the good work guys. I hope to see potions, armor, etc for the next adventure. Thanks. Be blessed in Jesus name Amen.

This game is awesome and addictive. It's a trip down memory lane. Only problem is limited variety of enemy's but its worth it

It's a cool throw back, but there is zero strategy involved. No leveling up, no weapon selection, no spells, one item. Huge cool map to explore and entertaining NPCs but I don't think it's worth 2 bucks.

As a lover of RPG type games, I immediately loved this game from the first play and found it well worth the money. However, my one word of advice to the makers is that there was not enough "story" to the story. For example, It would be more atmospheric game if there were more towns, castles, and villages to explore and people to interact with. You should be able to explore and do side quests such as bringing the fisherman safely back to his family ETC. more objects and characters to interact with would also create a more in depth story. More armor and weapon upgrade and special abilities could also be an option. Overall, I think this was a great game for its category but could be made into a five- star game with a little more time and effort. Now I'm not saying no effort went into this game. This game is already great for RPG lovers but could use some more spicing up. Best gaming, jakspigot (a PC gamer)

I found this game last weekend while I was looking for a Dragon Warrior type of game. After I started the game I was amazed just how similar it is to that NES classic but still its own game. I ended up playing it all day and completely immersed myself in its world. If I had any complaints it's that I wanted more, granted it was a pretty good length for a game. I just wanted to be there longer. The team did an incredible job with the game. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a basic RPG that retains the spirit of adventure but one that's not laden down with complex rules and puzzles that can only be answered by buying the cheat book. Great game!!!

I love the original and this new version has the same feel. But it seems like its missing a direction in the game. In the original there was a path. This one you can go anywhere and you don't level up. The monsters are repetitive and not enough Diversity. If these issues were fixed it would be an outstanding game. Ps I want a red slime.

Fighting is a total joke, made me quit playing after 5 minutes. Wouldn't recommend, seems like the people who are liking this are the ones that played similar games a million yrs ago when there were no better options

I really wish that I waited for a review before buying this game... I originally went in believing this would be like dragon quest but it's not. It's a bad game. No sense of direction, no world map, humor that falls flat, and just an all around a terrible experience. If you want a good game that is similar to dragon quest on the AppStore, buy guardian saga, but stay away from this game and save your money for something that actually deserves it.
