We had some gedcom files from our computer. We didn't want to spend money just to add some names and update events, so we opted for a free app. Rootsmagic has been great. We update on the PC then can view on our other devices.
It used to be good...

What did you do to ruin it with this latest update...now I can't even open up some of the notes in the App...never had problems before and now it's a mess...

Used to work great until several weeks ago, now nearly useless, I think this app has been abandoned, don't bother with it.

Rootsmagic is working great on my iPhone6S, iPad and Windows computer. No issues since I left my iPhone4S. I have connected my data using DropBox and so far everything is working great across all my devices.

Couldn't use it without going through a list of steps first. It should be ready to rip without the process

The app requires that you go though a long process of doing things on your computer through your iTunes account. Without the abundance of steps, the app is practically useless. I'm sure there's another app that can do the same thing this one promises without the need to take the extra steps that the app creators should have taken before uploading their app to the App Store.
