You can't create a database from scratch with this program. You must start from your computer then upload it to your tablet.
Excellent and well designed program

This is an outstanding program that works closely with our family history and Family Search. Easy to use, new or experienced, it is a perfect "base program".
Not well done

First, you can't edit but others have already said that. The WORST part is it always defaults to my first EX-WIFE much to the anger of my NEW wife, which is silly since EX-WIFE is correctly listed as divorced.
A Compact App for instant use

Occasionally while I am out and about I need to view the information in my RootsMagic database. It is very handy to carry around in my pocket. I find it not quite as useful for keeping track of new information I find when doing research.
Roots magic for IPad and IPhone

I love the portability. It is so handy to be able to take it with me wherever I go. My family History is there at a glance.
Terrible Interface

I use RootsMagic on my PC. I love it. The mobile app is horrible. The interface is difficult, there is no Ancestor View and it is NOT working in IOS8. Try FAMVIEWER instead! Lovely application and easy to use.

I've been using RootsMagic on my laptop and it's really. But on iPad you can't make correction or update information. I wish you have the iPad version where you editor information or make corrections.
