Really for the $$$ a great app. Hope someday they will add option to upload your own furniture. Super helpful laying out rooms in our new home.

I’m giving the app 4 stars because I was originally annoyed with the app. It crashed several times and wouldn’t recall the last version I saved. I didn’t give up and I continued to create plans and the app eventually stopped crashing and saved my plans. I was able to create 4 different plans pretty easily. There is a little learning curve to using the buttons but they do have a tutorial to explain. It’s addictive once you get use to it. Spent at least 10 hours using and playing around with it.

It's great....love using it for educational purposes but I don't appreciate when I'm creating and room it disappears...but will you be adding more interiors and textures for this mobile software for I see you have plenty for the PC platform

Keeps crashing and losing all of what I was working on. Would also love to be able to have my own patterns to use on fabrics/walls/etc. or put in hex codes for colors!

This is a great and fun app to use. It is lacking in certain features and the dimensions seem to be off and not really to scale. When resizing an object and applying a texture on on a reshaped item it extorts the image making it look odd. If the textures that are applied can be left to their original scale when applied on an object it would be much better also when adding walls into a staircase it is very difficult to do because the staircase and the object for walls does do not match match

?? VISUALIZE DIY Projects BEFORE investing time/money

This is a GREAT app for visualizing your projects BEFORE investing your time, energy, & money. I always use it before rearranging furniture, redecorating, & for planning renovation projects. TIPS: First measure & sketch out existing rooms (walls, doors, windows; etc.) on a piece of paper, then draw them out in RoomPlanner. Then SAVE MULTIPLE COPIES as "Main Level, Original Layout (1)" or whatever. That way, you can play around with different copies & compare them to see what you like best. I strongly suggest buying the "Dimensions" upgrade for $1.99. It allows you to type in the exact dimensions rather than trying to drag something to exactly the right size. - The other In-App Purchase options are mostly per your preference. PROs: * Able to see your projects in fairly accurate manner prior to actually doing it. * Lots of customizable options (decor, architecture, furnishings) * Able to do a 3D Walk-Thru of your project * Can save projects to the Cloud * Upload projects to the full Pro for PCs... "Home Designer Pro 2018 Program" * Can share views with other people CONs: * Wish there were more options & ways to customize objects, furnishings, & decor. * Wish you could design walls with a chair rail &/or wainscoting. - Currently, you have to use "boxes", change the dimensions, then add them to each wall individually. (Very time-consuming, & not easy to change afterwards) * REALLY wish I could save customized objects & such to my Favorites List to use in other plans. (Currently only able to save colors & some textures) Overall, a very nice app for figuring out how you want to do a project before you invest your time, energy, & money. The customizability is the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. (Written 1-31-18)

What happened? Room Planner was GREAT until this week. I used to love it and spend hours designing with it. I showed it to an architect to make blueprints for an addition. But now it crashes constantly, and I can hardly move walls or objects. Please, please roll back to the previous version! I'd pay (more) for that one if it could!

This used to be my favorite app but ever since the most recent update it has been super laggy, I also bought the nursery package for $2.99 and every time I try to place something from the package the app freezes, I am very disappointed because this used to be a great app.
