Since downloading to my new iPad, all selections seem to work EXCEPT the one to add items like furniture, doors, windows, etc. Floor plans I made prior to the move are there, but Now I can't add anything to them.

Works great on my iPadPro 10.5. Well thought out. Comes with most of the models needed to do basic house layouts. With a few tricks you can pretty much model most stuff a basic house plan. I was able to model my tiny studio (right down to the "worlds smallest" microwave and dorm fridge) within two days of installing. Features I really like (in no real order): Quick and simple wall placement Quick access to element details The ability to scale most elements including things like the fridge and microwave. The ability to set objects in the Z-Space by specifying "from floor to top" and "from floor to bottom". This allows for positioning of floating shelves, over head cabinets, and custom counter tops, just to name a few. Basic shape models - the ability to take a cube, scale it in any direction, and place it anywhere goes a long way :-) :-) Bonus - the 3D modeling - Originally, my only need was for 2D floor plan creation. I needed something quick and simple to get my many ideas across. But the app's 3D feature is truly great for visualization and fit, allowing me to take my designs much further. Nits: Models missing in both the "Basic" (free) library and the "pro" library. Mirrors - bathroom and full length. But you can fake it by scaling a basic shape. Bathroom (over sink) mirrored cabinet - basic style TP holder Simple basic (scalable) chairs and tables. Nothing fancy, just super simple. Texturing - not sure I'm doing it right or have the ability in the free version. It's only day two for me, so I'm still learning. This tool is great for what I am doing "basic floor plan" type stuff. Very happy with it.

I don't remember what I paid for this app, but I know it wasn't much. I'm house-hunting and it allows me to map out floor plans and even decorate to an extent. But to me, it's more about the architecture than the interior decorating. You can pay more to have different furniture options, but I don't need that. It is simple and works fine for an amateur. If you're an architect, you'll pay a lot more for a tech program. If you're not an architect, this program works great for planning a DIY project, or communicating with the architect about what you want in a larger project.

After 3 months I finished a perfect home design, and after your update you ruined it with ugly brown wooden floors that I can't get rid of.

Menu system is not intuitive at all. I have Chief Architect desktop and it is ok, but room planner is very frustrating for me. Right now I can't figure out how to change flooring. I know I'll figure it out, but it should be intuitive. So disappointing. May look elsewhere. Sam
