Issues won't download. No support on fixing the issue.

Pay Twice?

I have been a print subscriber since the 80s, and the notion of paying for a second subscription for the same content is bonkers. Hard pass RS.

Print Edition Exceeds It’s Former Glory, iOS Edition Still Disaapoints

This summer I was close to giving up on Rolling Stone after 30 years as a subscriber. Then, with the arrival of the June edition they won me back. Now that the print edition has been upgraded, how about doing the same for the iOS edition? The recurring issue that has been annoying subscribers who wants to enjoy RS on their iPads remain: I just renewed my subscription for another 2 years, yet I am once again faced with the inability to download the latest issue. Yes I know, if I play around with the “restore purchases” setting long enough it will eventually work. Come on, Rolling Stone, either get off the digital platform or provide us with a stable iOS edition.

Paid Subscriber, but no digital access!

Something changed that prevents me from reading my digital subscription. Everything was fine until the Aretha issue. App won’t let me download the edition. I’ve tried what was recommended to clear this “known” problem (from RS), but nothing worked. Please fix this! I’ve paid for it. Thank you.

This app CRUCIALLY needs to be updated
jonnswift13

I have been using your app for years now because it is the only way I am able to read Rolling Stone magazine through my iPhone/iPad. In my recent years of using this app, I have been anticipating an updated release that is tailored towards the newer updates of iOS and the newest hardware updates for Apple’s iPhones. Time and time again, I have been disappointed with the user interface for the app and my reading experience for Rolling Stone magazine has diminished. The app severely needs to be updated and I need to feel the satisfactory rush of joy again when I have finished reading the latest issue of Rolling Stone. PLEASE UPDATE!! IM BEGGING YOU! I am honestly thinking about cancelling my subscription due to this situation because it’s not a solid reading experience anymore.

Where is the content I have paid for?

For the last three months I cannot download the content even though I have a subscription. What the .... is that?

The RS APP Is Total Garbage
jeffreychristian

I have to add my voice with the overwhelming majority of this APPs negative reviews. The first 2-3 years of the digital version of Rolling Stone were fine with nary a hitch. Then suddenly, about three years ago, all hell started breaking loose. Issues wouldn’t download, I couldn’t log in (after mysteriously being logged out), getting ahold of someone to help was an impossible and mind-numbing experience. I was so frustrated that I decided my subscription wasn’t worth the pain and just deleted the APP, halfway through the annual period, which I already paid for. (I was concerned that I would be automatically re-subscribed, but thankfully that did not happen.) This scenario happened about 2 years ago, but I surmise it’s still a nightmare. Sad, too, as I was a decades-long reader of the mag. The experience turned me off to it. (I get what I want from the free online abridged version.)

App is awful

Constantly can’t download new issue. Keep getting prompted to “buy” issue. I’ve sent 3 emails to support with NO response. I would give this app a zero if that was a choice...

Terrible
Tyrant.Rex

More often than not, the app logs me out between uses and it’s been completely random when I’ve been able to access issues. I’m cancelling at the end of this subscription absent a complete redo. If you don’t have this app yet, save yourself some money and frustration!

Keep waiting for it to get better

My digital subscription has been and continues to be extremely frustrating. For most new issues, I can only get them by deleting my RS app and downloading it again. Not sure why they have so many problems but I have yet to see any improvement. Disappointing to say the least.
