Crash

Just bought the game and can’t even get past floor one without the game crashing multiple times

Huge potential

Game has huge potential. Very good RPG system, drop of loot. But 4th level is very difficult, cannot kill a 4-5 enemy at one time on the beginning, need more balancing. Have tried 3 times, no success, although I'm very experienced rpg gamer.

Really nice

amsicallmeabe

So far the game looks really cool, and has a lot of potential. I haven't yet felt that I wasted my money, as the interface is good and intuitive, although it could be a bit smoother, the text boxes a little easier to read, especially when you have to hold your finger over them. Also, exploring the dungeon is as expected, the rooms housing some satisfying loot.

A real gem -- great Roguelike.

I don't usually review games, but this is a great Roguelike rpg. Possibly the best for iOS at the moment. It's turn-based and has great controls. Give it a try!

Great Game

ScotDamn

Definitely a must for the roguelike seekers out there. Offers a fun dungeon dive with several classes to unlock. Really like how turns are streamlined in this with the option to pause at any point. Also zooming out speeds up time which is neat, especially useful if backtracking is needed. Overall great fun!

An original roguelite!

Lord Gek

I'm enjoying it so far. A 3/4ths perspective roguelite with a blocky minecraft asthetic. I think the game's most novel feature is how it uses a clever turn based/real time hybrid for all of your actions. The game is for all intents and purposes turn based but the monsters are moving and acting as you move. So plot a long jog across a big room and you'll see nearby monsters take several steps toward you, but if you just take a little baby step, they'll also only come 1 step closer. While paused plotting your next move, time in the dungeon freezes. The game uses food in a clever way as it both is needed to survive (you can see your stomach satiation decrease over turns taken), but it can also be used to heal you. The tricky situation is when you desoarately need healing and have food but are too full to take another bite (annoying when it hapoens but I have to admire it as a clever mechanic).

Minecraft meets rogue-like!

Ghastly13

I love this game, the adorable Minecraft graphics mixed with rogue like dungeon crawler game play are irresistible and I can't wait to see what future updates bring. Maybe a Minecraft style crafting system? Thanks developers for an amazing premium game with no greedy IAP :) I will be telling everyone about this one

Good but with bugs

artfoundry

Good gameplay mechanics making for a fun rogue-like. Graphics and sound are nicely neo-retro, though I'm personally tired of the Minecraft blocky style. Unfortunately there are some bugs, some minor but one show stopper. The minor ones include being able to see the sides of blocks inside the wall. This is very confusing at first because it makes it look like there are hallways everywhere. If you zoom out, they're not as visible though. Another issue is that arrows are pretty sparse, and in fact I've gotten to the point where I ran out and then never got any more. The scarcity isn't quite so bad because it means having to strategize a bit. But running out and not getting any more is a problem. However, the biggest issue is that on the fifth level of the dungeon, there's a door you can't open until you've killed the boss. Only, killing the boss still doesn't unlock the door. And you need to open the door to progress. Twice now (out of two tries) I've gotten stuck on that level. I don't know how you could miss that bug when testing before releasing the update/game. Or maybe the devs aren't testing much. That would be bad. If these issues were fixed, this would be at least a four star game.

iPhone 5/iOS 7.1.2

syntheticvoid

The game's aspect ratio is screwed up on iOS 7... at least with my iPhone 5, it is. Unplayable. If it's unplayable and the developers have no intention of fixing it, they should remove iOS 7 from the compatability list and make it iOS 8+ ONLY so as not to rip off any customers.

Great start for this rogue-like

If you like rogue-likes, you really should try this, as it’s one of the best for iOS. Still new and it could iron some things out, but it has all the things I like about a rogue-like.
