Wayy too many ads

W.X

Each small video is about 1.5 minute and every two video you get a 30 second ad that you cannot skip... very disappointed this app has become like this since this used to be one of my favorite source of news

Very nice! Straight, plain, factual news.

The VOLUME issue on Apple TV

ptezco

Let me make it clear: I’m talking about the Apple TV app. Since there’s no other outlet where I can write, I’m writing here. There should be no reason for the Apple TV app not to be a 5 star app. It has a lingering problem, though, since.. always. It’s VOLUME. The initial sequence is always deafening loud. In practice you must MUTE the TV before you can start the app. Not to mention the fact that the different segments have different volume levels. The other issue was pretty much resolved: the odd ads that would repeat ad nauseam during the whole period the news last. It’s like they had only one sponsor who had only one ad. It’s got a lot better. Please fix the volume issue, especially when the application first loads. The Apple TV one, that is.

Good - When It Works

Recurring downloads don't work at all. Videos often stutter, freeze, freeze but continue playing audio, lose audio, have poor quality, or don't play at all. Captions are finicky. This app rarely works as it should and it's very frustrating, as it would be a great app if it worked. I'm on an iPhone 7 running iOS 10, if that helps. Caught between giving this two or three stars as the content's good, but I went with the lower rating to hopefully get this noticed by the developers. Edit: Also would GREATLY appreciate a "10 second back"/"10 second forward" button. Navigating the videos to go back two seconds to hear something you missed is a nightmare and often leads to video problems.

Great way to catch up on news quickly

Usually use it every day

My go-to news source

Richard-wa

First thing in the morning. Running on an iPhone 6 with iOS 10.x. No problems whatsoever. Unbiased coverage although sometimes important details of a story are left out...

Great channel

Thoughtful rather than slick. Good reporters, not movie stars

Excellent News, Terrible App

@andrea.cordaro

I have been getting my news via Reuters tv now for about 6 months. I had to abandon the app on my phone because it's constant freezing made it impossible to use. Although discovering that I could watch it on a web browser on my computer was a big relief. This is where I now view it. I recently started to use an amazon fire stick. I downloaded the app, and it still has all of the problems it had on my mobile device. I'd say it is actually worse. It freezes on the very first story now! Please fix this!!!

iCloud Problem

staunchnortheasterner

It’s 3:27 PM EST on 01/13/18. I just tried to reinstall the app from my iCloud backup, and it says the app was no longer in the App Store. I hope Reuters will do something with Apple about this!

Just get Reuters TV. You’ll thank me.

Reuters TV is not tv. It’s what television was supposed to be. Runs by itself, gives you all the information you need to operate in the 21st century, as quite attractive video OR EVEN BETTER as audio (It doesn’t assume you’re looking at the screen.) and then it stops and turns itself off. And you can tell it once how much time you have for news and it will remember your answer. Heaven.
