My roommate gave me his tv which I use to watch shows in my room using HDMI but it doesn’t have a remote. It’s proven tricky though because I have to get up and down to change volume and pause my shows and such since I use my Mac, and because I use external speakers due to the terrible tv quality audio, too. So even if I had a tv remote I’d still have to go and change volume from my laptop. But now I don’t have to!! It makes laying in bed watching shows so much better. I just wish that - Hulu was part of the app not just Netflix and Prime - The pause function worked a little better because Hulu will only stay paused for about thirty seconds and since its not ‘supported’ I can’t truly pause or rewind shows But it’s a huge step in the right direction. Any plans to add Hulu soon?
Better than Apple’s remote app

I got this app primarily for remote control of volume, brightness, and skip forward of videos. The free version did this quite well. The response time is very close to instantaneous, even the mouse control. Then I started experimenting with other features and the PRO features looked useful as well. As a result, I upgraded. This app is most impressive indeed. With this app, I can do everything I would normally do sitting at my desk. As a bonus, it also works on the iPad, even in landscape orientation and I thank the developer for not neglecting the iPad. As I said in the title, this app is better thanApple’s Remote Desktop app, especially when one considers that Apple charges $79.99 for its app. This app is especially useful for controlling content on the extended desktop on my TV from across the room. It just works as advertised. I give it four stars because I don’t believe any app is perfect, but this one comes real close. Try out the free version, then upgrade after you realize how good it is.

I am so impressed with this app’s ability to quickly and easily control any of my 4 Mac computers that I really needs to do a review. I stream YouTube tv from a Mac mini and use my IPhone with the remote app instead of a mouse or keyboard. Some of the best money I spent. Thank you to the developer. Dan
