Takes too long to try it

I used to have an app called Hippo Remote which worked really well. As it happens sometimes, Apple rolls out a new iOS and the apps you purchased cease to work if the developer does not update the app. So I tried this app. 1. The free version doesn’t let you do anything, it is really annoying, waste of time to install it. 2. I don’t like the yearly payment option where you can cancel after a month - typically you have to fill out a form with payment details (time consuming) + need to remember to cancel outstanding payments, prefer to pay when I need the product). There is no option to try the app for a little while and then pay if you find the app useful. So i decided to purchase the app to try it, to then discover that my MacMini cannot run the helper (you need OSX 10.9 min). True it is stated in the system requirements section but when you purchase the app through an iphone (it is an iphone app after all) you need to click to look for additional information, it is not that obvious. However, the developer suggested I get a refund, which I have done. I praise him for replying to user comments.
Developer is trying but ....

I gave three stars bc it does work ... at times. seems every time it starts working, there is an update and then nada. couple weeks ago there was 5-6 updates back to back then just as it gets stable, another update. now the cursor only moves left to right at the top of my screen and the arrow keys don’t work. and before the developer comes out with a snarky response, i did buy the full version and have add these issues with the updates and cursor ever since.

It’s the day before Thanksgiving and I have not moved from the sofa for the last several hours. The app is my remote, mouse, and keyboard to my iMac. I don’t have to work tomorrow and I don’t have to move. ??

This is an awesome app, makes my life easy. Only issue found was that there are too many different apps when you search this, i had the “lite version” and upgraded within the app, but it didn’t upgrade it to the regular app, it worked like the pro which is fine i think I’m just a little ocd about having the little red feather thing on my app at home screen. This literally has nothing to do with the app, i just wanted to throw it out there that it doesn’t update the app display on the home screen, so don’t upgrade within the app, just go back and search and buy the 4.99 version. Wish i could get a refund on the in app purchase but whatever. Serious though, this app is sick!
Hipporemote is much better

I gave this app a try because Hipporemote no longer works on iOS 11. 5 minutes after trying out his app, I found 2 bugs already: 1. triple click doesn’t work like it should using a mouse on a Mac 2. chinese handwriting is not working installation is a quite straight forward and guide user through which is great, now only hope developer fix the above mentioned bugs

I use a Mac Mini as a media server, attached to my TV. This app makes it so easy to manage Netflix, Amazon and others via the browser on the Mac. Also grateful for the trackpad functionality and so many of the System features. Great app.

This app is awesome! Don’t hesitate to buy the premium version. It’s definitely worth the five bucks. Everything I’ve ever wanted for a laptop remote is wrapped up in this awesome app. GET IT!
Great App When it works

I use this app to control my Mac while it’s hooked up to my TV across the room. The layout is perfect for that. However it keeps asking me to update software. Constantly. My Mac never wants to install the software (the download bar just sits at the end for eternity.) On the rare occasion it does work, my phone keeps telling me that I still need to update the software. I think I’m just going to buy a cheap BT keyboard and save myself the headache.

Waste of time, NOTHING works on the free version. If you want us to experience the app be a bit smarter: e.g. full functionality for 5 min per day or something like that. As is, it is worthless.
