First off it’s an amazing app and works fine but my first issue was the time cool down, first it was around 30 minutes and I thought nothing of it, but the second time it went up to ALMOST 16 HOURS, so I tried deleting the app and restarting my phone but when my phone turned back on it reappeared but it had a white icon with some kind of wire design and when I went to the App Store it said “Open” but it wouldn’t open. And when I delete it it still says “Open” and when I delete it and restart my phone again it reappears.

This app gave me colored eyes and a 5 o’clock shadow and I was only 13 years old in the picture ??? and it looks nothing like me. Pretty cool what does but it doesn’t do it well enough..it’s a no go for me.

v1, v2, v3? Not helpful. Too many versions and v1 (base) and v3 are identical - one just doesn’t enlarge. V3 almost never improves anything - so I’ve learned to skip that one. v2 is a poor replacement for retro that messes up facial features and doesn’t smooth things out enough - essentially unusable. v1/base is just enhance, which was usable in combination with retro or just for a face that you’d mask over a retro copy - or blend. And sitting and waiting for each image when you’ve started to learn you’ll never get usable results as good as before the update is really starting to have me avoid using remini. Used to let things que and get them an hour later from history. Honestly, the best parts of Remini were Retro, history, enhance, video, and colorize. I could see this being the free version and subscribing gets you those features back. Otherwise you’re paying for v2, which is worse, and v3, which is identical to enhance but i suspect sizes the image back down to the original size and in the process wrecks the image unless it’s large. The straightforward ability to use retro or enhance and run an image again with enhance or retro is what let this app work its best. It’s like improving a car by removing the wheels and the engine. I’ll keep checking to see if some of those things are added back in after all the negative reviews lately - then I’d gladly resubscribe and enjoy using it again.

Update: cancelled sub after the big update that now… drum roll please… doesn’t let you save to your camera roll or airdrop to desktop. What’s the point with this app anymore? Masterclass in self-sabotage. Removed all but two features with zero notice or explanation including wiping out any paid “pro cards.” No communication from company on this save the odd request to contact them via their website which they ignore. Terrible way to treat your customers.
