Technical issues

I visit the REI app every day to check new items in outlet and sales. Technical errors hang the site often around high-volume days. Makes shopping impossible. I had 2 items in my cart that have disappeared before I was able to finish shopping. Now I cant even navigate the site due to constant technical hang ups. Frustrating.
Optimize for checkout

I know this app has issues around really slow loading due to it being so heavy on the embedded web pages everywhere. I would love for it to be fully native, but I understand that’s a lot to take on. The main issue is on the checkout page, and it won’t let me copy past my credit card or use the safari smart suggestions. It only lets you type it freeform or scan the card. Really you should make the app experience be easier than the website on at least the checkout experience! Please fix that so I don’t have to log into the site to checkout!

If you’ve been to REI, you know they’re like the Trader Joe’s of the outdoor gear world. Their people typically really care about each other and the customer, their product team (internally) seems to consistently bring competitive, fairly top-notch gear to the table at very competitive, more accessible prices, and their app is pretty awesome too. If there’s a coupon or sale, those things get added to your cart on an item-by-item basis. Gone is the chance that you’ll miss a discount, because they don’t force you to add them on yourself: they do it for you. Other app features I really like: wish lists are awesome to have. Haven’t used the shareable link yet, but I look forward to trying this feature. REI really is an amazing company, and I feel encouraged for a better, more connected world every time I leave there. Thanks, and bless you REI teams, staff, crew, friends.??

Gift cards & Bike services

1. The app needs to improve how it handles gift cards so that sales folks can scan my app at the register. Today I need to recite my gift card number and pin to them if I want to pay by gift card 2. When I get a service done on my bike, I need live updates of the service has changed. Example: I took my bike in to get my tubeless tires installed, got an email that the work was done but went to pick up only to find that they were still having issues with the sealant. Don't notify me that a service is complete until it's complete.
Reviews at REI Outlet can’t be scrolled down on iPhone.

I’ve checked with another REI employee who has the same problem. It’s definitely an App bug so please fix it.
Captcha error

With the new iOS 13.3, the app stopped working. It will not allow account log on and constantly goes to the Account Verification screen; however, it does not show the captcha to verify the account. Instead it says to upgrade to a supported browser. Both my Safari and Chrome are up to date. I am able log in fine via a browser.
