Reddit’s own video player is a nightmare: it lags, takes forever to load, and makes enjoying posts difficult. However, I’m getting a similar problem with Youtube videos when browsing r/videos! None of the YT videos will start with sound on automatically and take a lot of pausing/playing to get situated. This issue has been present for the last few weeks and is honestly super annoying.

The app has many bugs in it, such as the status bar disappearing sometimes. It also drains tons of battery in the background, and i know it is the reddit app since if I use another Reddit client such as narwhal, there is little battery drain.

Cons: – Status/Top bar becomes invisible at a random point, and it won't show again until the app is closed and opened again. – "-" characters are being shown as "\-"This is specially confusing for URLs – Theres no way to create, manage/edit, or delete multireddits; 3rd party apps have support for this, but not the official app? Disappointing. Pros: – Slideshow view is pretty good, and with the recent change of returning to slideshow from tapping on comment thread, good addition. Haven't seen it this well in other apps actually. Others: – New, more diverse themes would be great; the themes in the app are basically just two: light and dark. There's not much of a difference between the "light" themes honestly, it's a bit disappointing for them to be called themes.

When I initially download the app, it takes up around 50 mb of space. After a few hours, however, it eventually takes up 500-600 mb. I have to constantly delete and re download the app just so I can take pictures on my phone. Other than that, the app is great.

It’s seriously embarrassing how bad the official Reddit app is. All the buttons are really small and have terrible hit detection so you’re constantly accidentally collapsing comments and losing track of where you are in a scroll because the page just randomly jumps around. This app is so bad that I’m considering just not using Reddit anymore. More of a chore to use than anything else.

What’s the point of Redit when most of my posts get deleted? Even though they are very topic appropriate and in a kind caring nature loving mannerism. Then you have to wait like 10 minuets between posting and if you some how get away with posting earlier than this your post is deleted. I give up. What’s the point of this whole thing if I can’t freely voice my opinion. I did not violate contract in any way shape or form.
