New update looks horrible

Jay TKJO

The app was perfect other than a couple minor annoyances but now there’s pretty much less buttons, information and more pictures. The new update was a step in the wrong direction.

uydwsmo

The Follow button on peoples profile pages doesn’t work. And whats even worse and that the Edit button on your own profile doesn’t work either!

another new update without a fix for landscape video viewing

ldweller

On an iPad with a keyboard in landscape mode I try to look at comments on a video. When I click on the comments icon the video goes to full screen and the I cannot see the comments icon again. If I tilt the iPad 90 degrees so that it’s in portrait mode then I can see the comments icon and read them. What is galling is that sometimes it gets fixed in a release and then the next update it’ll be broke again. Form over functionality. I suspect that there’s an intended capability to do some kind of gesture at the bottom of the screen to call up icons in landscape full-video-viewing mode but any gestures seem to result in just getting the app bar to show up so that I can run other apps.

No

Starmie1

No I don’t want to continue in the app, stop being ridiculous with forcefully installing junk to collect data.

Can’t see my communities for the past month or so

janamichj

Ever since December/January I haven’t been able to see all my communities. Fix this app Reddit!

Pretty Garbage App

VTGREEN

This app works terribly for the IPad, can’t see comments in landscape mode, awful UI and it always says “ItS bEtEr In ThE aPp!”, no it isn’t. Fix your app reddit.

Gets worse with every update

Captain Rob

The designers of this app hate users and want them to suffer. They don’t listen to feedback. They make this app intentionally difficult and annoying to use in order to drive people away.

App Functions as Advertised; Community is Predictably Terrible

Michael Lenoch

Vitriolic, immature and toxic. These are but a few words to describe Reddit across its various communities. Belittling new members with honest, sincere questions and waging war on those with unpopular opinions. Each community is led by man-children with god complexes and unchecked authority who promote their one-minded view of reality and squash any other perspectives, should they dare to emerge from the woodwork. In addition, Reddit is also an excellent venue for propaganda to run rampant as it offers no means by which to suppress it (I have cited multiple of Reddit’s own community rules violations to a moderator and the concern was met with silence).
