Getting Greener
The app has been very helpful in familiarizing us with all the new recycling do’s and don’ts. It has also made us more mindful of product packaging choices.

This App is very specific, user friendly and free. No more searching around the house for printed calendars for trash, commingle, paper, and yard waste schedules. It’s all there instantly. Love it!

I have been getting notices that my city is switching to this app for 6 months now but it still doesn’t recognize my city.
RecycleCoach skips current week

I keep having to go in and re-enter my address, because the app periodically skips the current week. For example, today is Tuesday, February 18, 2020. My regularly scheduled pick up would be Wednesday, but I wanted to check if there is an adjustment this week, due to President’s Day, and my schedule showed that my next pickup is March 4, 2 weeks from tomorrow. This is the 3rd or 4th time that I’ve had to reset my address. I had to go to the City of Lansing website to verify that there is no change for this holiday. Basically, all the app does is confuse things.
