So, I used to use this app religiously but then just fell off the wagon. I tried to come back to it but apparently they have disabled my account. I emailed the support email address and days later, no response. I would just start another account but I don’t want to lose any points accrued from my old account and I only have one email associated with PayPal (which I can’t connect to a new account). I thought maybe it would take 24hrs or so for a response but it’s been longer and not a peep. Disappointed. A simple account reset that can’t be done remotely without a live person and then they take their time answering email (if ever). Boo?? UPDATE: Literally an hour after posting this review, I received a response to my support email. My account has been unlocked and I’ve been able to access the app again (following a pw reset). Apparently, it is the policy of Receipt Hog to disable your account if you go three months without using the app. While I can’t imagine why this would need to be a thing, I do wish that since it is, that they would send an email warning of this BEFORE it occurs. Also, I’m not positive that my review prompted the response (it had been 3 days of silence up until now), but nonetheless I’ll amend my 1-Star review to 3. It would be higher, but I see that I still can’t use online purchase receipts like Amazon (the second-most-frequented retailer I patronize, second only to my brick-and-mortar grocery store). Come on, guys. It’s 2018 - online shopping is here to stay. Please give us a way to earn spins or coins with online purchase receipts.
Payouts are Very Low, Not Worth the Effort

Payouts are very low. Not worth the time or effort to snap receipts or to use the app, period. You cannot cash out until you have 1,000 coins, which only amounts to $5.00. It took me over 2 months to reach that.

The way this works is pretty self-explanatory. If you’re like me, you keep every receipt for everything. Now there is always a benefit to keeping the receipts! It’s much more than just a “what if” situation! Simple pleasures, my friends...! ?

This is the best reward app. I like that they don’t reduce the amount you get after you redeem your award.

I’m givin y’all 3 Star because it is takin a lot of time to get up to a decent cash out amount. I would’ve loved to get my cash out either in my bank (like another app I use) or other forms of gift cards (no expectations). I’m not puttin funds on Paypal cause they charge when funds are applied from any form outside of my bank account and I don’t shop Amazon but every other year. Please upgrade with better points value rewards as well as more ways to cash out.

I didn’t delete when the app MADE me turn my location on always, because I wanted to use this app. But there’s a wait list? No dev response necessary as I’ve already deleted and have installed a different coupon app.
