This review is for the app specifically and not the program behind it. You have to renter your password and log into this app every time you open it even with the save my password checked. The layout is confusing. I have technical issues connecting to the weekly sessions. Connecting my bluetooth headphones, the audio still plays over the iPhone’s loudspeaker. And most importantly, if I use other better apps to track calories burned, weight, etc. the Real Appeal app doesn’t read any of this information and I have to enter it manually into the app. Therefore repeating the effort.

Made error entering by starting, want to edit my starting weight and there is zero option to do so. Only been on this app for an hour and can already notice common features for most weight tracking / exercise apps that are missing

This program is touted to work well but I have the same problems with this app that everyone else does: I can’t watch my weekly sessions. I can’t stay connected to the coach - my audio is choppy and the app disconnects me. I can’t control the volume or mute after a video is played and it’s horribly loud (I think it’s going to break my speakers). I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling. It doesn’t work with my Apple Watch, it requires a password every time I log in, the tracker is awful (Lose It is great, try that if you want to track your calories). I could go on, but others have already listed all my grievances. I can’t believe my 250K+ employee, fortune 50 company chose this garbage as its weight loss winner.

Basically I never use this app. I sign in from the browser on my computer. This app would be much more user friendly if it had a connection to the HealthKit. Activity and weight are already there from other apps.

So much potential for personal change...limited by annoying and time-wasting tech difficulties. Please fix the consistent issues so they aren’t an impediment for users!

The coaches are great, but the technical part is sad. When ever I try to sign my weekly contract it won’t let me close out of it. I have to delete my app and reinstall it. They need to get with it!!!!

Just downloaded and started today with the app. The biggest feature I see right now that needs to be added is syncing data with my Fitbit.
worst app in usa
Pages will not close out. Have to remove app and reinstall over and over. Can not turn display front m app. Frozen one way.

This is a great program and it’s completely free with insurance!! You get your kit which gives you everything you need and sessions each week to keep you on track. The app is easy to use as well. Don’t let these negative comments mislead you. Yeah it can be flawed but most electronic things are. If a food item you scan doesn’t match what’s on the label, just fix it. Easy as that. The only complaint I have is that I wish the walking tracker could sync to different types of fitness tracks, not just the Fitbit or jawbone since I have an off brand one. I am able to watch my sessions on my phone with no problems. Overall, great app to use and great program if you follow it.

I scanned a bottle of grape juice and it came up bacon. I scanned a banana nut muffin and it came up a gallon of milk. My fitness pal has a much easier and user friendly food tracker. Tried adjusting weight goals and it keeps setting back to a default choice. The concept of this app is good. It’s not ready for general use with all the bugs.
