Not good!

Very limited! Have to come out fully before seeing another camera view. Too slow.

Not rapid at all.

Still delayed.

Kills battery

EMCGuy

Sometimes it is fast and sometimes slow. It also kills your battery, it has been a few times that I notice my phone getting too warm in my pocket, I go an check the battery usage and this app appears like the first one in constant use for at least 30 mins, so it will stay open in the background consuming your battery, even when I disabled running in the background for it.

Terrible for battery life

Matthew LT

This app Does open up the ring camera faster, but it consistently uses up 75%+ of my battery life if I forget to close it out when I am done. For some reason the App keeps using significant power even when it is not actively being used. As long as the app is open on the background, my battery drains at ~4-5x the usual rate. Sometimes I’ll only get ~3-4 hours of battery life if I leave it open in the background. This is a big bug the ring team needs to solve. If solved I’d give the app a 5 star.

Rapidly happy

Crushed in Miami

The ring app seems so slow and this rapid ring brings up the footage so much quicker. Then I can retrieve my video in the actual ring app. I love how they work together

iPhone Update

god ado

This will work perfectly for iPhone 11 when you update it to 15.1 The regular ring app keeps freezing but this one works perfect highly recommend it

Battery

impicklerick82

Current version stays running in the background. Battery screen shows it regular eating up 50% of my battery in an hour if I don’t force quit the app when I’m done.

If you need two apps to see live view something is wrong.

Donek168

No live view using either app. I have good WiFi so no excuse

I DON’T SEE THE PURPOSE

Didn’t know this app existed until 2 mins ago (was looking to see if there was an update for reg Ring app that my phone simply hadn’t updated to). This app makes no sense. It’s borrowing the live view aspect from the reg app & making an app out of that. And why is that necessary? *was looking for an update to reg Ring app because it’s suddenly taking FOREVER to look at video on our Ring regardless if it was from 2 seconds ago or 2 days ago…loading wheel keeps spinning endlessly. It’s also taking a lonnnnnnnng time to get a motion alert on the reg Ring app. It’s not our internet, we noticed a slowdown in the reg Ring app with the last update to the app. We have the fastest router available, 8 antennas , 3 bands…every device in our house operates at lightning speed. The reg Ring app is barely limping along with delayed notifications (15 min delays) & videos take several minutes to load, if they load. Ring, it’s probably a good idea to drop the idea of multiple apps. Only 1 well functioning app is necessary. Focus on just the one app. Keep the old saying “Jack of all trades, master of none” in mind. Focus, please.

Rapid ring not rapid

No--way

Raid ring takes way to long to inform you that you have a visitor. Most of the time they have entered the house and came up one story before notice.
