I LOVE!!! RadioLab, but it is very frustrating that the app does not save where you left off on an episode like it does on the podcast channel. Could you please fix that. I have to try to forward to the point I left off every time I open the app. Thanks!
I love Radiolab and I thought this app might help organize my listening. I have not found the following features to be available: bookmarking, a listened/heard indicator and a bucket for unheard shows. Hope these can be added soon!
Super happy to pay for the app, love the show This app, however, needs a do-over. It’s hard to figure out, and keeps stopping mid-episode. In addition to the ability to “star” favorite episodes, I also need a way to make episodes as “heard” so they don’t auto-play again.
Not being able to save your spot so you can pickup where you left off is extremely frustrating. I’m also unhappy that I cannot mark episodes that I’ve listened to. I feel like these are key abilities to make this an enjoyable app.
Please enable the app to remember where I was when I last closed it. This is such a frustrating situation for my commute home.
I cannot say enough about Radio Lab !!! I am always in the mood to listen to them! And for all the people who say they “love the show but the app needs fixing,” then for Fakes guys just say that!! Don’t downgrade the ratings because they need to fix the app. Come on now.... for anyone contemplating whether or not to download this app... DON’T... i dont know anyone who doesn’t love this podcast. Also, you can listen on the NPRONE app, (*DOWNLOAD NPR ONE) and from there you can listen to Radio Lab (for free) and also the NPR ONR app has no issues (unlike what others have reported issues on Radio Labs ‘Ratings and Reviews.’) SO.... if you want to listen for free download NPR ONE, but i Highly suggest that you donate to the radio show because that the RIGHT THING TO DO.... plus if you want this amazing show to continue .... then you need to donate-which i am sure you’ll find easy to do once you fall in love with this podcast lol. I LOVE YOU RADIO LAB!!!! ?????
The app is difficult to navigate, impossible to see which episodes you heard, autoplays when you try to download to listen later, and slow to respond when trying to pause the playback. Really abysmal app design.
Radiolab is one of the best podcasts out there. I have been listening to it for at least 8 years and I almost never miss an episode. But the app ... gah!!! It is the WORST! Constantly glitching, never saves my place, and sometimes there is no way to fast forward. Save yourself the headache and just listen to on the podcast app of your device. I learned my lesson and am deleting the app. I will still listen to each and every new episode.
The show is terrific, but the app is in woeful need of an update. What's good about the app: * You can get every episode of the show * The built in tool to help make the closing credits is fun. What's bad about the app: * It sacrifices usability in favor of design so. It's confusing to use. * It doesn't remember where you left off in an episode * It doesn't support carplay. ( Wish it did) Hope they update soon. The new TAL app is pretty decent and should inspire them to do more.
