This is the best weather app

PatrickEbertz

This is the best weather app and give the best accuracy in Minnesota it’s always right and it doesn’t lie and sometimes it can but always 100% right for Weather I love this app hope this app gets updates every day and hope it stays strong and hope it’s fast and you should make everything free in the apps in New York to pay for anything it’s kind of dumb they have to pay in the app Make the app free so you don’t have to pay for anything please only in the app but if you’re in the App Store you have to pay for it but only if you’re an app you do not have to pay for if you buy it so you don’t have to pay for any extra prescription plans and make them free

Not worth $10

If you buy just the app what you get is VERY limited. You can’t even get a regional radar. You have to select each radar site to view a whole storm. No dew points, no wind speeds, no temps. You probably have to subscribe to the monthly subscription to get those. This app is nothing but selecting between radar sites and various settings per radar. Oh but you can draw on it. Wow. Usually I’m quite savvy and once I explored all the app and what just the $10 app purchase would get me, I feel very ripped off. I used to use MyRadar and vs. what you get with $10 on RadarScope. MyRadar is by far the best option. Should have went with MyRadar pro.

No 30 Frames Radar

Naughty Garfield

Subbed for Pro and you are able to select only NOAA’s 30 Frames. RadarScope only has 6 Frames. Even with NOAA 30 Frames Radar, the app only plays 6 and the Radar looks so granny it’s not even high res.

This is the best radar app on the market.

No other radar app gives you the data to view, manipulate, and overlay like radar scope. I have followed many individual thunderstorms, tropical cyclones, and mesoscale features, and it is a good way to assess high humidity near the surface. It works. If you don’t understand weather radar you will not appreciate this app.

Very good

This is a very good app! In order to get your moneys worth for this app, I would recommend learning what to look for in the different radar images. You need to understand what the different filters show, and how they show them. Once you get that down, you will hopefully enjoy this app as much as I am! This app is great for storm chasers and weather spotters (I am one myself) because it updates very quickly and It is very accurate! It also allows for you to link your spotter network account (if you have one) to post your location, see the locations of other spotters, and post reports! UPDATE: Since buying the app, I have gotten the tier one subscription, and it is super helpful. I really like the dual pane option, as it allows me to look at velocity and reflectivity data at the same time. This is still the best weather app I have ever seen. Overall this is the PERFECT app as long as you understand the radar filters and tools.

“GREAT PRODUCT / GREAT PRICE”

RadarScope puts a wide range of radar data on your devices in an app that is accurate, informative, and easy to use. You can upgrade to pro-tiers (1 or2) on a monthly or annual subscription; however the basic app gives enough information for most. It may even lead you into a deeper study of weather systems. I originally purchased the app because of our dog’s extreme “thunderstorm anxiety”. The app enabled us to predict more accurately the arrival time of storms and thereby gauge when to medicate her. The app has many standard features and tools including accurate distance measurements, storm cell tracks and speed, etc. I purchased it on my iMac also. The modest cost of RadarScope makes it a no-brainer in my book. Base Velocity, LLC has a great app here !!

A few tweaks and we have a 5 star

Brainal

RadarScope is the best radar app out their for the serious weather geek. It however is missing a few things. 1.CONUS Radar view. 2. VAD Wind Profile 3. Rocker Looping 4. Lower the price on pro tier 2. 5. The ability to set perimeters and specific locations.

Cear Air Mode

Tacitdrop

I’ve had and relied on this app for many years. However, what’s with the “clear air mode” that many radar locations display now? I understand what it is but don’t understand why a radar location is in clear air mode when there is moderate to heavy rain.

Was Good: Now Only Force Crashes On Opening

rpgj

No way to even use the app anymore. Update didn’t work. Force crash on iPad Pro.

Weekly Forecast

DunnAwayWithYou

Good app overall I guess. Why is there no 5 day forecast I paid more than any other weather app and didn’t know there wasn’t a extended day forecast on here.
