Radar update too slow

roverover

Just got this app yesterday and am monitoring a huge storm today. Figured everything out in the app and it functions great. Only problem is my radar info is 42 minutes old. I see nowhere how to update this. Help says it updates slowly sometimes. But how slowly !!!

Best weather app - but

I miss the sweeping radar!! Bring it back! And it would be great to have an option to choose the radar site you want as a home option.... Also.... This is the third time you've changed the layout.... Leave it alone.... Thanks!

Best radar app I've ever used.

Larry Sprinkle

Love this app. Always has fresh updates (that work). VERY accurate! User friendly for beginners, lots of tools for experts.

Only Complaints:

Justanotherterribleapplol

Costs too much No forecasts, whatsoever Pro version costs too much No lightning strike counter UI is just OK Radar is somewhat low-def Other than that it's a fantastic a app, but don't buy this if you're just the average consumer. FOR WX GEEKS ONLY!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't get any better for IOS

Dark Horse (NB)

Plain and simple, $10 to purchase and $10/year for pro features such as dual plane to review both radar and velocity at the same time which zooms in and out at the same time on both planes. It doesn't get any better for IOS weather apps but this is for the weather enthusiast who wants to know more about a storm and what it is doing accurately. The pro subscription gives you airport TDW radar which is extremely accurate and high resolution. If you live anywhere near a airport take advantage of the higher resolution radar available for pilots and related.

Almost perfect, but not quite

NC Mountaineer

This app is very, very good. I find it to be fast and accurate. I would give it a higher rating (and even be willing to pay annual subscription) if the storm tracks displayed an ETA and cities in the path data. Competitor apps already have that in place at no fee.

The Best Radar App Ever

Zecellomaster

I really don't know where to start with this app. It is simply... fantastic. It is like having those professional radar programs you see on TV, but much cheaper. If you are a weather aficionado/storm chaser, ignore the $9.99 price tag and BUY THIS APP. The scans are real time, efficient, and are extremely easy to navigate. It has all the scans that you would expect (reflectivity, velocity, CC, ET, etc.) and the first two types contain the raw unprocessed radar scans that are not only informative, but beautiful. This is a product that I definitely recommend!

The best radar app I've ever owned. Straight forward, easy to use, outstanding for novice or expert use.

When your life depends on radar, this is it!

Update: Nothing compares. Had a batch of tornados here in the Midwest and this was spot on. I'm a weather app junkie with many apps purchased. This is a professional grade app that continues to improve. If you need to know where a storm really is there is no other app I use. The recently added storm tracks is a great addition. Use the Vertically Integrated Liquid radar to gauge a cell intensity. In general this app taught me a lot on how to use and judge other radar tools/apps. Update: New version looks solid and the best radar app, period!

Awesome!!! Best Radar App Out There!!!

Michael_Zucker

Best radar app out there. Worth the money, worth the pro subscription. Suggestion: Would like a feature whereby I could setup push notifications of storms within a certain milage if my location or radar. Not necessarily warnings but any weather incoming. Would like to make it so I don't have to check the radar every so often.
